A: Qaseeda Burda Sharif is a free mobile app for reading the Qaseeda Burda Sharif, the famous poem of praise written by Imam Al-Busiri. It shows every couplet in its original Arabic alongside synced Urdu and English translations, with adjustable font size, fast text search, and voice search so any verse can be found in seconds. Q: How does voice search work in the app? A: Instead of scrolling through pages to find a verse, you tap the microphone and speak a phrase from the Qaseeda. The app matches what you said against the verse text and jumps straight to the matching couplet. It is built for hands-free use during recitation, when scrolling and typing are impractical. Q: Does the app include Urdu and English translations? A: Yes. Every couplet is displayed in Arabic with verse-by-verse Urdu and English translations kept in sync beneath it, so readers can follow along in whichever language they are most comfortable with rather than switching between separate books or files. Q: Can I change the font size? A: Yes. Translation font size is fully adjustable from the app settings, so the text stays readable for older readers and anyone reading for long stretches on a small screen. Q: Is the Qaseeda Burda Sharif app free, and does it show ads? A: The app is free to download from the Google Play Store and is intentionally ad-free. The reading screen stays distraction-free so nothing interrupts recitation. Q: Where can I download the Qaseeda Burda Sharif app? A: The Android app is available on the Google Play Store at play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qaseedaburdasharif. It is built with React Native and Expo, so the same codebase runs natively on both Android and iOS. Q: Does the app work offline? A: Yes. The full Arabic text and both translations ship with the app, so reading, text search, and navigation work without an internet connection. Only voice search needs the device's speech recognition to be available. --- ### Saylani IT Training LMS (SIT LMS) URL: https://www.muhammadhuzaifa.com/projects/sit-lms The SIT LMS is the learning management system behind Saylani IT Training (formerly Saylani Mass IT Training / SMIT) - 500,000+ students, 20,000+ active users, and three role-based portals plus a companion mobile app. Students join Zoom-integrated live classes, submit assignments, and check results. Visitors can search and filter the fatwa library by category, keyword, or scholar, with each answer referencing its source so users can trust the guidance they're reading. The Zakat, Fidya, and Iddah calculators turn common Sharia questions into simple, interactive tools instead of static articles, letting users get precise figures without needing to consult a scholar directly for routine calculations. When an answer isn't already in the library, the question-submission portal routes new queries to qualified scholars for review. The entire platform is engineered on a Next.js and Node.js/Express stack with MongoDB and a heavy SEO focus, so that people searching in Google for Islamic rulings land directly on authenticated answers rather than unreliable sources. It's built as a catalog-first browsing experience for wholesale buyers, with orders and pricing handled directly through WhatsApp rather than an online checkout. Buyers can browse the full catalog by footwear type, age group, and size range, with high-quality product imagery and smooth Framer Motion animations that make scrolling through 100+ styles feel fast and modern rather than like a static spreadsheet. Because the business is wholesale-only, there's no cart or online payment - instead every product links straight to a pre-filled WhatsApp message, letting buyers negotiate bulk pricing and place orders directly with the supplier, which better matches how wholesale footwear deals are actually done. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and ShadCn, and backed by Firebase for product data, the site turns what would normally be a WhatsApp catalog of loose images into a proper, searchable storefront. The same catalog also ships as an Android app on the Google Play Store, so regular wholesale buyers can browse stock from their phone without opening a browser. It exposes deploy time, commit count, author and committer details, version (from package.json), and the latest Git tag through a simple object API, with a formatted console output for quick auditing. Instead of maintaining a separate deployment-metadata file or CI variable, teams simply call getInfo() to pull the deploy timestamp, total commit count, author and committer name/email, current package version, and latest Git tag straight from the repository's own Git history. It ships with zero runtime dependencies, so it adds negligible weight to any Node.js project, and its formatted console output makes it easy to log deployment details during CI/CD pipelines or debug 'what's actually running in production' during an incident. The package is fully open-source on GitHub and published on npm for any Node.js team to install and use. Highlights: - Zero-dependency package - reads everything from Git logs and package.json, no config files needed - Exposes deploy time, commit history, author/committer info, and version via a simple getInfo() API - Professional formatted console output for quick auditing, published on npm for the Node.js community Tech stack: Node.js, Git, NPM, DevOps, CLI Live: https://www.npmjs.com/package/deploy-info | GitHub: https://github.com/Huzaifa-io/deploy-info --- ## Services ### Full-Stack Web Development URL: https://www.muhammadhuzaifa.com/services/web-development I design and build complete web applications from the ground up using the MERN stack. A free, clean Android app built by Muhammad Huzaifa. October 22, 2026 · Islamic Apps · 5 min read Qaseeda Burda Sharif App: Read in Arabic with Urdu and English Translation I built a simple Android app for reading Qaseeda Burda Sharif — the Arabic text of Imam al-Busiri's poem with Urdu and English translation, verse search and voice search, in a clean, distraction-free layout. Quick summary What it is: a reading app for Qaseeda Burda Sharif. Languages: Arabic text with Urdu and English translation. Extras: verse search and voice search. Platform: Android, free on Google Play. What is Qaseeda Burda Sharif? Qaseeda Burda Sharif is a classical Arabic poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), composed by Imam al-Busiri , the 13th-century poet from Egypt. It is one of the most widely recited and loved poems in the Muslim world. Across Pakistan, India and far beyond, people recite it at gatherings, during Rabi ul Awwal, and as part of their personal daily routine. Many readers know the melody by heart but want to understand the meaning of what they are reciting — which is exactly where a translation helps. Why I built this app I wanted a Burda app that does one thing well: let you open the poem and read it comfortably. A lot of apps in this category are cluttered, so I kept the interface simple and the focus on the text itself. The latest update added Urdu and English translation , so you can read the Arabic and understand each verse in the language you are most comfortable with. As the developer, I keep improving it based on feedback from people who actually use it. Features at a glance Feature What it does Arabic text Read the full Qaseeda Burda Sharif in Arabic Urdu translation Understand the meaning of each verse in Urdu English translation Follow the meaning in English Verse search Find a specific verse quickly Voice search Search for a verse by speaking instead of typing Simple interface Clean, easy-to-use layout with no clutter Portrait reading Smooth reading experience held upright on your phone Who this app is for People who recite the Burda regularly and want the text on their phone. Readers who know the Arabic but want to understand the meaning in Urdu or English. Anyone preparing for a mehfil or Rabi ul Awwal gathering who needs to find a verse quickly. Parents and students learning the poem for the first time. How to download and use the app Open the Qaseeda Burda Sharif listing on Google Play on your Android phone. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish. Open the app and start reading the Arabic text from the beginning. Choose Urdu or English translation to follow the meaning alongside the Arabic. Use the search bar or the microphone button to jump to a specific verse. Honest notes before you install This is a reading-first app. It is designed for reciting, understanding and searching the text, not for loading you with extra features. It is currently available for Android only. Translations help with understanding but cannot capture every layer of classical Arabic poetry. For deeper study, reading a scholarly commentary alongside the app is a good idea. Frequently asked questions Is the Qaseeda Burda Sharif app free? Yes. You can download it for free from Google Play. Does the app include Urdu translation? Yes. The app shows the Arabic text with Urdu translation, and English translation is available too. Can I search for a specific verse? Yes. You can type into the search bar or use voice search to find a verse quickly. Is the app available on iPhone? Not at the moment. The app is currently available on Android through Google Play. Who wrote Qaseeda Burda Sharif? It was written by Imam al-Busiri, a 13th-century poet from Egypt, as a poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Here's how it works. October 22, 2026 · Launch · 6 min read DiscountOffer.Store Is Live: Hostinger Deals Made Simple I built a dedicated site for one job: helping you buy Hostinger for less, with a coupon I personally test at a real checkout every month. Affiliate disclosure DiscountOffer.Store and some links in this post are Hostinger referral links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you . Prices below were checked in October 2026 ; the Hostinger checkout page is always the final word. What is DiscountOffer.Store? DiscountOffer.Store is my new, independent Hostinger referral site. It compares Hostinger plans in plain English and gives you a discount link with coupon WEBHOST2026 attached, which takes an extra 20% off Hostinger's sale price. It is not the official Hostinger website and isn't run by Hostinger. You still buy, pay and manage your account on hostinger.com; the site just helps you pick the right plan and makes sure the discount is applied. Why I built it I've written several Hostinger guides on this blog, and the same questions kept coming up: Does the coupon still work? Which plan should I pick? Does it work in my country? Answering those properly needed more room than a few blog posts. So I built a focused site where every coupon and price is tested at a real Hostinger cart before I call it verified. If a deal stops working, the page says so instead of quietly promising a discount that isn't there. What you'll find on the site Here's a quick map of the main sections, so you can jump straight to what you need. Section What it does Link Get my discount One link that opens Hostinger with the 20% discount already in your cart Open Pricing Compares web, cloud, VPS and WordPress plans across 12, 24 and 48-month terms Open Hostinger sale Plan-by-plan deal pages, from Premium and Business to Cloud, Agency, VPS and Docker plans Open Coupon by country Local currency, payment and server tips for 13 countries, including Pakistan, India, the UAE and the USA Open Blog 40+ guides, comparisons and tutorials on Hostinger, hPanel, VPS and deployments Open VPS tutorials Developer guides for Next.js, Laravel, Django, n8n, Coolify and GitHub Actions on a Hostinger VPS Open Hosting glossary Plain-English definitions of hosting terms Open How the WEBHOST2026 discount works There are two ways to get the same 20% off, and you only need one of them: Use the referral link. Open Hostinger from any link on the site and the discount is added at the cart automatically. Nothing to type. Type the coupon. Prefer doing it yourself? Enter WEBHOST2026 at Hostinger checkout for the same 20% off. It works across web, WordPress, cloud and VPS hosting, on 12, 24 and 48-month terms. You pay the discounted price; Hostinger pays the referral fee separately. How I verify the coupon Once a month I add a plan to a real Hostinger cart through the site's link and confirm WEBHOST2026 shows up as a discount line. The “verified” date on the site only moves after that test passes. The homepage also shows screenshots of two live carts, one using the link and one using the typed code. Prices at a glance (October 2026) These are the promotional monthly rates listed on DiscountOffer.Store for the 48-month term, in USD and excluding taxes: Plan Price Good for Premium $2.49/mo (48 months) Multiple sites, free domain for the first year Business $3.49/mo (48 months) Growing stores, daily backups, NVMe storage Cloud Startup $7.99/mo (48 months) Busier sites that need dedicated resources Longer terms give the lowest monthly price, but renewal rates are higher than the first term. Your exact total, currency and renewal terms are shown on the Hostinger checkout page before you pay. How to get your Hostinger discount Go to DiscountOffer.Store and pick a service: web, cloud, VPS, WordPress hosting, website builder or business email. Choose a billing term. Compare 12, 24 and 48 months on the pricing page before you decide. Click Get my discount link to open Hostinger with the 20% discount attached. Check that the discount line appears in your cart. If it doesn't, enter WEBHOST2026 in the coupon box. Complete payment securely on hostinger.com and set up your site in hPanel. Already know which plan you want? You can also go straight to Hostinger with my referral link or use the code WEBHOST2026 at checkout. A note for readers in Pakistan Many of you reading this are in Pakistan, so the site has a dedicated Hostinger coupon page for Pakistan with PKR in mind. There are also step-by-step guides on buying Hostinger with JazzCash and paying with a Pakistani debit card . Frequently asked questions Is DiscountOffer.Store the official Hostinger website? No. You pay the discounted price. Hostinger pays me a small referral fee separately, never you. Is WEBHOST2026 still working? It was last verified at a real Hostinger checkout in October 2026. The site shows the latest verified date, and it's re-checked monthly. Does the coupon work outside the US? Yes. The site says it works in every country and has dedicated pages for 13 countries, covering local currency and payment tips. Which billing period is cheapest? The 48-month term has the lowest monthly price, but you pay for the whole term upfront and renewal costs more. Pick the term that matches how long you realistically plan to run the site. October 15, 2026 · Hosting Guide · 13 min read How to Deploy a Next.js App on Hostinger VPS (Step by Step) A complete, copy-paste walkthrough: fresh Ubuntu server to a live Next.js site on your own domain, running on PM2 behind Nginx with free HTTPS. Affiliate disclosure Some links in this post are my Hostinger referral links. If you buy through them (or use code WEBHOST2026 ), I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend it because this is a setup I genuinely use and trust for Next.js projects. What you will build By the end of this guide, your Next.js app will run as a production Node.js server on a Hostinger VPS. Every Next.js feature works this way, including server components, API routes, Server Actions, ISR and middleware, because you are running the real Next.js server rather than a static export. Here is the stack, from the internet down to your code: Nginx receives traffic on ports 80 and 443 and forwards it to your app. Certbot (Let's Encrypt) gives you a free SSL certificate that renews itself. PM2 keeps the Next.js process alive, restarts it if it crashes, and brings it back after a reboot. Node.js 24 LTS runs your app with next start on port 3000. This is the classic self-hosting setup I reach for when a Next.js project needs its own server, and it is the same pattern the Next.js docs describe as deploying to “any provider that supports Node.js”. VPS or Hostinger's managed Node.js hosting? Before you buy a VPS, know that Hostinger also offers Node.js web app hosting on its Business and Cloud plans. You connect a GitHub repo, and Hostinger handles the build, runtime and routing for you. If you just want a site live without touching a terminal, that is the simpler path. Choose a VPS when you want full root access, need to run other things beside your app (a database, Redis, a cron worker, n8n), want several apps on one server, or simply want to learn how production servers really work. The trade-off is that a VPS is self-managed: updates and security are your job. You want… Better fit Push to GitHub and forget about servers Business or Cloud plan (Node.js web apps) Root access, custom software, a database on the same box VPS (this guide) Several Next.js or Node apps on one server VPS (this guide) Zero server maintenance Business or Cloud plan Which Hostinger VPS plan do you need for Next.js? Hostinger's VPS line has four KVM plans. All of them use AMD EPYC processors and NVMe storage, include free weekly backups, a dedicated IP, and full root access. Plan vCPU RAM NVMe storage Bandwidth Intro price (24-month term) KVM 1 1 4 GB 50 GB 4 TB $6.49/mo (renews at $11.99/mo) KVM 2 2 8 GB 100 GB 8 TB $8.99/mo (renews at $14.99/mo) KVM 4 4 16 GB 200 GB 16 TB $12.99/mo (renews at $28.99/mo) KVM 8 8 32 GB 400 GB 32 TB $25.99/mo (renews at $49.99/mo) Prices taken from Hostinger's main (USD) VPS page in October 2026. The Pakistan site shows prices in PKR, and promotions change often, so the price at checkout is always the final word. My recommendation: KVM 1 is enough for a single small-to-medium Next.js site, and 4 GB of RAM is comfortable for running next build on the server. Pick KVM 2 if you plan to host a database next to the app, run more than one project, or expect real traffic. You can upgrade later from your Hostinger account without starting over. Before you start A Next.js app in a GitHub (or GitLab) repo that builds locally with npm run build . A Hostinger VPS. You can get one through my referral link and apply code WEBHOST2026 at checkout. A domain name you can edit DNS records for (a domain bought at Hostinger or anywhere else both work). A terminal with SSH. macOS and Linux have one built in; on Windows use PowerShell or Windows Terminal. Throughout this guide, replace YOUR_SERVER_IP , example.com , my-next-app and the GitHub URL with your own values. Step 1: Set up the VPS with Ubuntu In hPanel, open your new VPS and run through the setup. Choose a plain Ubuntu LTS operating system template (Ubuntu 24.04 is a safe choice), pick the data center closest to your visitors, and set a strong root password. If you already have an SSH key, add it here; it is more secure than password login. Hostinger also offers templates and an app catalog with software preinstalled. I use plain Ubuntu in this guide on purpose, so you understand and control every piece. Once setup finishes, copy the server's IP address from the VPS overview page. Step 2: Connect over SSH and create a deploy user Log in as root and update the system first: ssh root@YOUR_SERVER_IP apt update && apt upgrade -y Running everything as root is risky, so create a normal user with sudo rights. I call mine deploy: adduser deploy usermod -aG sudo deploy If you logged in with an SSH key, copy it to the new user so you can sign in as deploy with the same key: rsync --archive --chown=deploy:deploy ~/.ssh /home/deploy Now open a new terminal window and confirm you can log in as the new user before closing the root session: ssh deploy@YOUR_SERVER_IP . Every remaining step runs as deploy. Step 3: Turn on the firewall Ubuntu ships with UFW. Allow SSH first (so you do not lock yourself out), then enable it: sudo ufw allow OpenSSH sudo ufw enable sudo ufw status Hostinger also has its own firewall manager in hPanel. If you set rules there, make sure ports 22 (SSH), 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS) are allowed, otherwise your site and SSL setup will fail later in a confusing way. Step 4: Install Node.js 24 LTS and Git Ubuntu's default repositories often lag behind. Recent Next.js versions need Node.js 20 or newer , so install the current LTS line (Node.js 24) from the NodeSource repository: curl -fsSL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_24.x | sudo -E bash - sudo apt install -y nodejs git node -v npm -v If node -v prints a version starting with v24, you are ready. npm comes bundled with Node.js, so there is nothing else to install. Step 5: Get your code onto the server For a public repo , a plain clone works. For a private repo , create a deploy key on the server first so the VPS can pull your code without your personal GitHub password: ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "hostinger-vps-deploy" cat ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub Copy the printed key, then in GitHub open your repo’s Settings, go to Deploy keys, add it, and leave write access unticked. Now clone the project: cd ~ git clone git@github.com:your-username/my-next-app.git cd my-next-app Step 6: Add environment variables and build Your .env files should not be in Git, so recreate them on the server. Next.js loads .env.production when you build and start in production: nano .env.production Paste your variables, save with Ctrl+O, and exit with Ctrl+X. Then install dependencies and build: npm ci npm run build Important: variables that start with NEXT_PUBLIC_ are baked into the JavaScript at build time. If you change one later, you must rebuild, not just restart. Do a quick test run with npm start , then from a second SSH session run curl -I http://localhost:3000 . A 200 response means the app works. Stop the test with Ctrl+C. Step 7: Keep the app running with PM2 If you close your terminal, a plain npm start dies with it. PM2 runs the app in the background, restarts it on crashes, and starts it again after a server reboot: sudo npm install -g pm2 pm2 start npm --name "my-next-app" -- start pm2 save pm2 startup The pm2 startup command prints one more line that begins with sudo env PATH=... . Copy that exact line and run it; it registers PM2 as a system service. Useful commands from here on: pm2 status , pm2 logs my-next-app and pm2 restart my-next-app . Step 8: Point your domain to the VPS In your domain's DNS settings (hPanel if the domain is at Hostinger), create or edit two A records : Type Name / Host Points to A @ YOUR_SERVER_IP A www YOUR_SERVER_IP Remove any old A or AAAA records for the same names that point elsewhere. DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to spread. You can check progress by running ping example.com and seeing whether it returns your VPS IP. Step 9: Set up Nginx as a reverse proxy Nginx sits in front of Next.js, handles ports 80 and 443, and passes requests to your app on port 3000. Install it and create a site config: sudo apt install -y nginx sudo nano /etc/nginx/sites-available/my-next-app Paste this config, replacing the domain with yours: server { listen 80; server_name example.com www.example.com; location / { proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000; proxy_http_version 1.1; proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade; proxy_set_header Connection 'upgrade'; proxy_set_header Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme; proxy_cache_bypass $http_upgrade; } } Enable the site, remove the default placeholder, test the config, and open the web ports in the firewall: sudo ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/my-next-app /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/ sudo rm /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default sudo nginx -t sudo systemctl reload nginx sudo ufw allow 'Nginx Full' If nginx -t reports that the syntax is ok, visit http://example.com. You should see your Next.js app, just without the padlock yet. Step 10: Add free SSL with Certbot Let's Encrypt certificates are free, and Certbot's Nginx plugin installs them and updates your config automatically: sudo apt install -y certbot python3-certbot-nginx sudo certbot --nginx -d example.com -d www.example.com Enter your email, accept the terms, and Certbot does the rest, including redirecting HTTP to HTTPS on current versions. Certificates last 90 days and renew automatically; confirm renewal works with a dry run: sudo certbot renew --dry-run Open https://example.com . Your Next.js app is now live on your own Hostinger VPS. How to deploy updates Every time you push new code, the update is four commands. Save them as a small script so a deploy is one line: nano ~/deploy.sh #!/bin/bash set -e cd ~/my-next-app git pull npm ci npm run build pm2 reload my-next-app chmod +x ~/deploy.sh ~/deploy.sh Because of set -e , the script stops if the build fails, so a broken build never replaces your running site. Once you are comfortable, you can trigger the same script from GitHub Actions over SSH for automatic deploys on every push. Common errors and how to fix them Problem Likely cause Fix 502 Bad Gateway The app is not running, or it is on a different port than Nginx expects Run pm2 status and pm2 logs my-next-app ; confirm the app listens on 3000 Build killed or “JavaScript heap out of memory” The server ran out of RAM during next build Add a swap file (below) or move to a plan with more RAM Env variable undefined in the browser NEXT_PUBLIC_ values are fixed at build time Update .env.production, then rebuild and reload Certbot fails to verify the domain DNS not pointing to the VPS yet, or port 80 blocked Wait for DNS, check A records, allow ports 80 and 443 in UFW and hPanel Site is down after a reboot PM2 startup was never registered Run pm2 startup , run the line it prints, then pm2 save Missing images or CSS with standalone output public and .next/static are not copied into the standalone folder Copy both folders, or use the default next start setup from this guide If builds keep running out of memory on KVM 1, a 2 GB swap file usually solves it: sudo fallocate -l 2G /swapfile sudo chmod 600 /swapfile sudo mkswap /swapfile sudo swapon /swapfile echo '/swapfile none swap sw 0 0' | sudo tee -a /etc/fstab How to get a Hostinger VPS with the referral code Open Hostinger through my referral link and go to VPS hosting. Pick a plan (KVM 1 for one small app, KVM 2 if you want room to grow) and choose a billing period. Longer terms have the lowest monthly rate. At checkout, enter the code WEBHOST2026 if the discount is not already applied, and check the final price and renewal price before paying. Complete payment, then open the VPS in hPanel and follow Step 1 of this guide. Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its VPS plans, so you can test this setup and cancel within that window if it is not right for you. Check the current refund policy for the exact terms. FAQ Can I host a Next.js app on Hostinger shared hosting? Not on the entry-level shared plans. Hostinger's Node.js web app hosting, which supports Next.js, is available on its Business and Cloud plans. For full control, a VPS like the one in this guide works with every Next.js feature. Is Hostinger KVM 1 enough for Next.js? For a single small-to-medium site, yes. KVM 1 has 1 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, which handles next build and normal traffic for most portfolio, blog and business sites. Choose KVM 2 if you add a database, run several apps, or expect heavy traffic. Should I use output: 'standalone'? It is optional. Standalone output creates a smaller, self-contained server folder, which is great for Docker. For a simple VPS setup, the default next start used in this guide is easier because you do not have to copy the public and static folders by hand. Do I need Docker to deploy Next.js on a VPS? No. Docker is useful if you want identical environments everywhere, but Node.js, PM2 and Nginx directly on Ubuntu is simpler to set up and debug, especially for your first deployment. Can I run more than one Next.js app on one VPS? Yes. Run each app on a different port (for example 3000 and 3001), start each one with PM2 under its own name, and give each its own Nginx server block and Certbot certificate. To change the port, start the app with next start -p 3001 . Is a VPS better than Vercel for Next.js? It depends on what you value. Vercel gives you zero server work and a global edge network; a VPS gives you a fixed monthly cost, full control and room for databases and background jobs. Many developers keep small projects on Vercel and move to a VPS once they need more control. October 13, 2026 · Web Hosting · 7 min read Hostinger Referral Code WEBHOST2026: How Much You Actually Save in the US The real dollar math behind the referral discount on Hostinger's US pricing, plan by plan, including the parts most coupon pages skip. Affiliate disclosure WEBHOST2026 is my personal Hostinger referral code. If you buy through my referral link , Hostinger pays me a commission at no extra cost to you, and you get the referral discount. I only recommend Hostinger because I use it for my own projects. Quick answer Hostinger's referral program gives new customers up to 20% off eligible plans at checkout. On the 48-month Premium plan listed at $143.52, a full 20% would save about $28.70 , bringing it to roughly $114.82. Prices checked October 2026; your checkout total is always the final word. What WEBHOST2026 actually is WEBHOST2026 is not a secret promo or a leaked coupon. It is my referral code from Hostinger's own referral program , which rewards existing customers for bringing in new ones and gives the new customer a discount in return. Hostinger's referral page says the person you refer gets 20% off, and the referrer earns a commission once the new customer has kept the plan for 45+ days, after the 30-day money-back window. That is the whole deal. Nothing hidden, no extra steps after payment. The easiest way to use it is to open Hostinger with WEBHOST2026 attached . It lands on Hostinger's referral page, which says your discount is already applied, so you don't have to remember or type anything. Hostinger US prices in USD (October 2026) Hostinger's US site shows three main web hosting plans. The headline monthly rates are for the 48-month term, and Hostinger notes that all plans are paid upfront: the monthly figure is simply the full total divided by 48. Plan Listed rate (48 months) Paid upfront Websites Renews at Premium $2.99/mo $143.52 3 websites $10.99/mo Unlimited $3.99/mo $191.52 Unlimited websites $16.99/mo Cloud Startup $7.99/mo $383.52 Unlimited websites $25.99/mo Source: Hostinger web hosting page , checked October 2026. Hostinger lists prices without VAT, and "unlimited" features are subject to its Fair Usage Policy. Prices change often, so treat this as a snapshot. The real dollar math: what 20% saves on each plan Here is what the referral discount works out to if the full 20% is applied to each plan's listed 48-month total. I rounded to the nearest cent. Plan 48-month total Up to 20% off Total after discount Effective monthly Premium $143.52 $28.70 $114.82 ~$2.39/mo Unlimited $191.52 $38.30 $153.22 ~$3.19/mo Cloud Startup $383.52 $76.70 $306.82 ~$6.39/mo Estimate only. The exact amount depends on the plan and term in your cart. Any sales tax or fees shown at checkout are not included in these numbers. For most people starting a blog, portfolio or small business site, Premium is the sweet spot: 3 websites, a free domain for the first year and weekly backups. If you plan to run several sites or want daily backups and NVMe storage, Unlimited is the step up, and the referral discount saves you more in dollars there simply because the cart total is bigger. What happens at renewal (the number to plan for) Intro pricing is where Hostinger is cheapest. Once your first term ends, the plan renews at the listed renewal rate, and the referral discount does not carry over. Here is what one year at renewal pricing looks like: Plan Renews at One year at renewal Premium $10.99/mo $131.88 Unlimited $16.99/mo $203.88 Cloud Startup $25.99/mo $311.88 This is exactly why longer first terms make sense if you know the site is staying online. You lock the low rate for four years before renewal pricing kicks in. What the discount does not cover This is the part coupon pages usually leave out, and it is where people get surprised at renewal time. Renewals are not discounted. The referral discount applies to your first purchase only. Domains are excluded. Hostinger says domain-related services are not eligible for the referral program. The free first-year domain on these plans is a plan perk, not part of the referral discount. Shared hosting needs 12+ months. Web hosting and Website Builder plans only qualify on 12-month or longer terms. Cloud, VPS and email plans can qualify on 1-month or 12+ month terms. One offer per purchase. The referral discount cannot be stacked with other Hostinger referral programs or incentives on the same order. It is meant for new customers. If your account already has eligible services, the referral may not apply. How to get the WEBHOST2026 discount at checkout Open Hostinger through my referral link in a fresh browser tab. If you have another Hostinger coupon or deal page open, close it first. Pick your plan. For shared web hosting, choose a 12, 24 or 48-month term so the purchase qualifies. On the cart page, check the price breakdown. You should see the plan subtotal, the discount, and any tax before the final total. If the referral discount is not showing, reopen the link and rebuild the cart. Avoid jumping between other deal pages in the same session. Create your account with a fresh email and pay with one of the methods Hostinger shows you. Its site lists major cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Screenshot the final total for your records. Your invoice in hPanel is the official figure. Which term should you pick? The 48-month term gives the lowest monthly rate and the biggest dollar saving from the referral discount, but it is also the biggest upfront payment. If you are testing an idea, a 12-month term still qualifies and keeps the commitment small. My honest take: if you know the site will stay online for years, the longer term is usually better value. If you are not sure yet, start with 12 months. Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its web hosting, which gives you room to change your mind early. FAQ Is WEBHOST2026 a real Hostinger code? Yes. It is my personal code from Hostinger's official referral program, and it is attached automatically when you open my referral link. How much does the Hostinger referral code save in the US? Up to 20% on eligible plans at checkout. On the October 2026 listed prices, that is roughly $28.70 on Premium, $38.30 on Unlimited and $76.70 on Cloud Startup for a 48-month term, if the full 20% applies. Is Hostinger really $2.99 a month? Only as an effective rate. The $2.99/mo Premium price means paying $143.52 upfront for 48 months. Paying month to month costs much more, and the plan renews at $10.99/mo. Does the referral discount work on monthly shared hosting? No. Shared hosting and Website Builder qualify only on 12+ month terms. Cloud, VPS and email plans can qualify on monthly or 12+ month terms. Will my renewal be cheaper too? No. The discount is on your first purchase. Renewal is charged at Hostinger's renewal rate for your plan. Can I use WEBHOST2026 with another Hostinger coupon? No. The referral discount cannot be combined with other referral programs or incentives on the same purchase. Use whichever gives the lower total in your cart. Will I pay sales tax on top? Possibly. Hostinger lists prices without tax, so depending on where you are, tax may be added at checkout. The cart shows it before you pay. Does the discount apply to domain registration? No. Domain-related services are not eligible for the referral program. Etsy may show a different amount in your currency, and the listing at checkout is always the final word. Why I started offering SEO audits on Etsy I build websites and apps, and most of my client work ends up touching SEO: fixing indexing problems, cleaning up titles and meta tags, restructuring content so Google understands it. Over time, that work has earned more than 3 million Google impressions across 10 websites . The same questions keep coming up from small business owners, bloggers and founders: "Why isn't my site showing up?" and "What should I fix first?" A full agency retainer is overkill for most of them. What they really need is an honest look at their site and a short, prioritised to-do list. So I turned that into a simple product: a custom SEO audit report with a 45-day action plan , sold through my Etsy shop HuzaifaCreates . You send your URL, I do the audit by hand, and you get a PDF you can actually work from. What's included in the report Every report is written for your specific website. Nothing is a generic template pasted from a tool. Deliverable What you get Full SEO audit A hand-reviewed look at your site, with an overall SEO score and a plain-English summary Top 10 urgent fixes The ten issues holding your site back most, ordered by priority Keyword ideas Search terms that fit your niche, your goal and your target country or city Content plan Page and blog topic ideas you can publish to grow relevant traffic 45-day action plan A week-by-week schedule so you know what to work on and when Priority fix list Every finding tagged High, Medium or Low so you don't waste time on small stuff first What the audit covers I check the areas that actually move the needle for most small and mid-sized websites: Technical SEO — page speed, Core Web Vitals, indexing, your XML sitemap and robots.txt. On-page SEO — title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure and internal links. Content and keywords — whether your pages match what people actually search for. Backlinks and authority — how your site's link profile looks and where it is thin. Local SEO — covered when it matters, for example clinics, local services and shops. If you add up to three competitor websites when ordering, I use them as a reference point so the recommendations reflect what is working in your space. Who this audit is for I work with ethical and halal businesses. The report is a good fit if your website is one of these: Education and e-learning websites EdTech and SaaS products Medical, health and clinic websites Small businesses, local services and e-commerce stores Blogs, portfolios and nonprofits Websites I don't audit To keep my work in line with my values, I don't take orders for sites related to gambling or betting, adult or dating content, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, drugs, interest-based lending, or scams. If you are not sure whether your site fits, message me on Etsy before ordering and I will reply quickly. How to order your SEO audit Open the SEO audit listing on Etsy . Fill in the personalisation fields: your website URL , website category (for example education or e-commerce), your main goal (traffic, sales or customers), your target country or city, and up to three competitor sites if you have them. Place your order. No login or password is needed — I only look at public data. I audit your site by hand using professional SEO tools. Your PDF report arrives through Etsy Messages within 3–5 business days. Work through the 45-day plan week by week, starting with the High-priority fixes. What this audit is not I would rather be upfront so you know exactly what you are paying for: It's a written report, not a done-for-you service. I don't log in or make changes to your website. The plan is built so you or your developer can follow it. No guaranteed rankings or traffic. SEO depends on competition, content, site history and more. Anyone promising you the #1 spot is guessing. No refunds after delivery. Every report is custom-made for your site, so refunds aren't available once it has been delivered. If you have questions, ask before ordering. Free SEO checker vs a custom audit Free online checkers are useful, and I use plenty of tools myself. The difference is what happens after the scan. Free automated checker This custom audit Who reviews it Software only Reviewed by hand by a developer and SEO specialist Priorities Long list of warnings, often all marked urgent Top 10 fixes in priority order, tagged High / Medium / Low Keywords and content Usually not included Keyword ideas and a content plan for your niche Plan None 45-day, week-by-week action plan Context Generic Based on your goal, location and competitors If you are comfortable reading raw tool output and deciding priorities yourself, a free checker may be enough. The audit is for people who want someone to do that thinking for them. Frequently asked questions How long does the SEO audit take to arrive? You receive the PDF through Etsy Messages within 3–5 business days of placing your order. Do you need my website login or password? No. I only use publicly available data, so you never need to share logins, passwords or admin access. Will you fix the SEO issues for me? No. This is a written report and action plan. I don't make changes to your site, but each fix is explained clearly enough for you or your developer to handle. Can you guarantee my site will rank higher? No one can honestly guarantee rankings or traffic. The audit shows you what to fix and in what order, which gives your site a much better chance, but results depend on many factors. What platforms do you audit? Any public website works — WordPress, Shopify, Next.js, Wix, custom builds and more — as long as it falls within the categories I accept. Can I add competitor websites? Yes. You can add up to three competitor URLs in the order form. It's optional, but it helps me tailor the keyword and content ideas. Is there a refund policy? Because each report is made specifically for your website, refunds aren't available once the report is delivered. Message me before ordering if you have any doubts. What should I do after I get the report? Start with the High-priority items in week one, then follow the 45-day plan in order. Re-check your progress in Google Search Console as you go. October 10, 2026 · Web Hosting · 7 min read Hostinger Referral Code WEBHOST2026: How Much You Actually Save in PKR The real rupee math behind the referral discount on Hostinger Pakistan, plan by plan, including the parts most coupon pages skip. On the 48-month Premium plan listed at Rs.28,752, a full 20% would save about Rs.5,750 , bringing it to roughly Rs.23,002. According to Hostinger's referral program agreement, the referred buyer gets up to 20% off at checkout, and the referrer earns a commission on that first purchase. That is the whole deal. Nothing hidden, no extra steps after payment. The easiest way to use it is to open hostinger.com/pk with WEBHOST2026 attached . The code rides along in the link, so you don't have to remember or type anything. Hostinger Pakistan prices in PKR (October 2026) Hostinger shows Pakistani visitors prices in rupees. The headline monthly rates are for the 48-month term, and the monthly figure is simply the full upfront total divided by 48. You pay the whole term at once. Plan Listed rate (48 months) Websites Renews at Single Rs.399/mo 1 website Check at checkout Premium Rs.599/mo 3 websites Rs.1,699/mo Unlimited Rs.799/mo Unlimited websites Check at checkout Cloud Startup Rs.2,099/mo Unlimited websites Rs.5,399/mo Source: Hostinger Pakistan web hosting and pricing pages, checked October 2026. Renewal rates are shown only where Hostinger lists them on the plan card. Prices change often, so treat this as a snapshot. The real PKR math: what 20% saves on each plan Here is what the referral discount works out to if the full 20% is applied to each plan's listed 48-month total. I rounded to the nearest rupee. Plan Listed rate 48-month total Up to 20% off Total after discount Effective monthly Single Rs.399/mo Rs.19,152 Rs.3,830 Rs.15,322 ~Rs.319/mo Premium Rs.599/mo Rs.28,752 Rs.5,750 Rs.23,002 ~Rs.479/mo Unlimited Rs.799/mo Rs.38,352 Rs.7,670 Rs.30,682 ~Rs.639/mo Cloud Startup Rs.2,099/mo Rs.100,752 Rs.20,150 Rs.80,602 ~Rs.1,679/mo Estimate only. Hostinger describes the referral discount as "up to" 20%, so the exact amount depends on the plan and term in your cart. Taxes or fees shown at checkout are not included in these numbers. For most people starting a blog, portfolio or small business site, Premium is the sweet spot. You get 3 websites and a free domain for the first year, and the referral discount saves you more in rupees than on Single simply because the cart total is bigger. What the discount does not cover This is the part coupon pages usually leave out, and it is where people get surprised at renewal time. Renewals are not discounted. The referral discount applies to your first purchase. When your term ends, the plan renews at Hostinger's renewal rate, for example Rs.1,699/mo on Premium. Domains are excluded. Hostinger's terms say domain-related services are not eligible for the referral program. The free first-year domain on eligible plans is a plan perk, not part of the referral discount. Shared hosting needs 12+ months. Web hosting, Website Builder and similar plans only qualify on 12-month or longer terms. Cloud, VPS and email plans can qualify on 1-month or 12+ month terms. One offer per purchase. The referral program cannot be combined with other Hostinger referral programs or incentives on the same purchase. It is meant for new customers. If you already have eligible services on your Hostinger account, the referral may not apply. How to get the WEBHOST2026 discount at checkout Open Hostinger Pakistan through my referral link in a fresh browser tab. If you have another Hostinger coupon or referral link open, close it first. Pick your plan. For shared web hosting, choose a 12, 24 or 48-month term so the purchase qualifies. On the cart page, look at the price breakdown. You should see the plan subtotal, the discount, and any taxes or fees before the final total. If the referral discount is not showing, reopen the link and rebuild the cart. Avoid switching between other deal pages in the same session. Create your account with a fresh email, choose a payment method from the options Hostinger shows you, and complete the order. Screenshot the final total for your records. Your invoice in hPanel is the official figure. Which term should you pick? The 48-month term gives the lowest monthly rate and the biggest rupee saving from the referral discount, but it is also the biggest upfront payment. If you are testing an idea, a 12-month term still qualifies and keeps the commitment small. My honest take: if you know the site will stay online for years, longer terms are usually better value because you lock the low rate before renewal pricing kicks in. If you are not sure yet, start with 12 months. Hostinger lists a 30-day money-back guarantee on its hosting plans, which gives you room to change your mind early. FAQ Is WEBHOST2026 a real Hostinger code? Yes. It is my personal code from Hostinger's official referral program. It is attached automatically when you open my referral link. How much does the Hostinger referral code save in Pakistan? Up to 20% on eligible plans at checkout. On the October 2026 listed prices, that is roughly Rs.3,830 on Single, Rs.5,750 on Premium, Rs.7,670 on Unlimited and Rs.20,150 on Cloud Startup for a 48-month term, if the full 20% applies. No. Hostinger's terms say the referral program cannot be combined with other referral programs or incentives on the same purchase. Use whichever gives the lower total in your cart. Does it work for existing Hostinger customers? The program is aimed at new customers. If your account already has eligible services, the discount may not apply. Does the discount apply to domain registration? No. Domain-related services are not eligible for the referral program. Quick summary A 72-page A4 PDF with 15 chapters , checklists, and "Try This Now" tasks in every chapter. Every number in it comes from real Google Search Console screenshots. It's an instant digital download from my Etsy shop, HuzaifaCreates . Why I wrote this ebook Most SEO advice online is theory. It tells you what Google "probably" wants, and then you're left guessing whether any of it works. I've spent the last few years doing SEO on real projects: client sites, organization websites, tool sites, and my own apps. I tracked what moved the numbers and what didn't. This ebook is that notebook, cleaned up and organized from beginner to advanced. One chapter covers a two-week fix that put a well-known organization's website back above the scam sites ranking for its own name. That site went on to reach 2.98M impressions and 1.29M clicks. The book walks through exactly what I changed. What's inside the SEO ebook The book has 15 chapters that build on each other. Here's what they cover at a glance. Topic What you'll learn Keyword research Finding keywords and reading search intent, using real query data On-page SEO Titles, headings, content structure, and internal linking that Google understands Technical SEO Core Web Vitals, indexing issues, and crawlability Link building White-hat methods only, nothing that risks a penalty Growth strategies Programmatic SEO, tool sites, and affiliate SEO Recovery Coming back from deindexing and handling domain migrations safely AI search How to show up in Google's AI features Next.js SEO Code examples for developers building on Next.js 90-day action plan A step-by-step plan to apply everything to your own site Every chapter ends with a "Try This Now" task and a checklist, so you finish each section with something done, not just something read. Who this guide is for Beginners who want a clear path instead of scattered YouTube videos. Bloggers and affiliate marketers who need more organic traffic from Google. Freelancers who offer SEO and want proven processes to follow. Small business owners who want to understand what their site needs. Developers , especially Next.js developers who want SEO built into the code. What makes it different Everything in the book is based on sites I actually worked on. The case studies use real Search Console data, not rounded-up or made-up examples. I'm also a developer, so the technical chapters don't stop at "fix your Core Web Vitals." They show what to change and where. To be honest about it: SEO results depend on many factors. This book shares real experience and real processes. It doesn't promise rankings or income, and no SEO guide honestly can. How to get the SEO ebook Open the SEO Ebook listing on Etsy . Click Add to cart and complete checkout. Learn what each one handles for you, which projects fit each tier, and how to pick the right Hostinger plan. September 26, 2026 · Web Hosting · 8 min read Shared Hosting vs VPS vs Cloud: What a Developer Actually Needs The real difference between hosting types is how much of the server you manage yourself, and most projects need less than you think. Rule of thumb Start with shared for sites and blogs, move to cloud when you need more guaranteed resources without managing a server, and choose a VPS only when you need root access or a custom stack. Disclosure: This post includes my Hostinger referral link and coupon. I may earn a commission if you use them, at no extra cost to you. The one question that decides it Forget marketing terms for a moment and ask: who manages the server? With shared and cloud hosting, the host handles the operating system, security patches, and web server. With a VPS, you do. More control sounds appealing, but it comes with real maintenance work. Every hour spent patching a server is an hour not spent on your app. Shared hosting Your site shares a server with other customers, and the host keeps everything running. You get a control panel, one-click WordPress, email, and databases. It's the right choice for portfolios, blogs, business sites, and simple app landing pages. On Hostinger, the Business plan also runs Node.js web apps, which makes shared hosting more useful for JavaScript developers than it used to be. Cloud hosting Cloud hosting keeps the managed experience of shared hosting but gives you more dedicated resources, such as more CPU and RAM that aren't competing with as many neighbors. It fits sites that have outgrown shared plans, online stores, and multiple Node.js apps. Hostinger's Cloud plans support more Node.js apps than Business, with higher resource limits. VPS hosting A VPS gives you your own virtual server with root access . You choose the operating system, install what you want, and take responsibility for keeping it secure. Pick a VPS when you need things managed hosting can't give you: a specific Node version, MongoDB on the same server, Docker containers, background workers, WebSockets at scale, or a self-hosted tool like n8n. Side-by-side comparison Factor Shared Cloud VPS Server management Fully managed Fully managed You manage it Root access No No Yes Resources Shared with other sites More dedicated CPU and RAM Allocated to your server Node.js support (Hostinger) On Business plan All Cloud plans Yes, manual setup Skill needed Beginner Beginner to intermediate Comfortable with Linux and SSH Best for Blogs, portfolios, landing pages Growing sites, stores, multiple apps Custom stacks, APIs, Docker, self-hosted tools Matching common developer projects to a plan Project Recommended Hostinger plan Privacy policy page and app-ads.txt for your Android apps Premium web hosting WordPress blog or portfolio Premium or Business web hosting Next.js site or small Express API Business web hosting Several Node.js apps or a busy WooCommerce store Cloud Startup Mobile app backend with MongoDB, workers, or Docker KVM VPS Signs it's time to upgrade Shared to cloud: you regularly hit resource limits, pages slow down during traffic spikes, or you need more Node.js apps than your plan allows. Cloud to VPS: you need software the managed environment won't run, or you need control over the runtime and system packages. Don't upgrade just because a tutorial used a VPS. Many tutorials use one because it's the most generic setup, not because the project needs it. How to get started with the coupon Open Hostinger through my referral link . Choose web, cloud, or VPS hosting based on the tables above. Select your billing period and note the renewal price. At checkout, check that the discount from code WEBHOST2026 is already applied. If it isn't, enter it in the coupon field and confirm the updated total before paying. After purchase, set up your domain and SSL, then deploy your site or connect your GitHub repo. FAQ Is a VPS faster than shared hosting? It can be, because resources are allocated to you. But a poorly configured VPS can be slower than a well-tuned managed plan, so speed depends on setup too. Can I move from shared to VPS later? Yes. You can upgrade within Hostinger as your project grows, so it makes sense to start small. Do I need a VPS to run Node.js? Not on Hostinger. Business and Cloud plans run Node.js web apps without any server setup. A VPS is only needed for custom requirements. A practical guide for Pakistani students. September 26, 2026 · Web Hosting · 8 min read Cheap Web Hosting in Pakistan for Students and Beginner Developers How to pay in rupees, pick a starter plan that fits your project, and use a coupon without getting surprised at renewal. The short version Buy from Hostinger's Pakistan site so you're billed in PKR, pay with a local card or JazzCash, choose the smallest plan your project actually needs, and apply code WEBHOST2026 at checkout. Always check the renewal price before you pay. Disclosure: This post includes my Hostinger referral link and coupon code. I may earn a commission if you use them, at no extra cost to you. What "cheap" should actually mean The cheapest-looking price on a hosting page is almost always the introductory rate on the longest billing term. That's not a trick, but it is easy to misread. When you compare plans, look at three numbers: the total you pay today , the length of the term , and the renewal price after that term ends. A plan that's slightly more today but renews reasonably can be the better deal for a student who'll keep the site for years. Paying from Pakistan: currency and payment methods This used to be the biggest headache for Pakistani students, since many international hosts only accepted cards billed in dollars. Hostinger now runs a local version, Hostinger's Pakistan site , that bills in Pakistani Rupees. According to Hostinger's official payment page, the Pakistan site accepts: Debit, credit, and prepaid cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others) JazzCash Crypto payments You may see Easypaisa mentioned on other blogs, but it isn't on Hostinger's official list at the time of writing. Check the options shown at checkout before you plan around it. Important: pick the right site before you sign up Hostinger doesn't let you change the currency of an existing account. If you create your account on the global site in USD, you'd need a new account with a different email to switch to PKR. Start on the Pakistan site if you want rupee billing. Two practical tips for card payments. First, many Pakistani bank debit cards need online or e-commerce transactions enabled in your banking app before they work on any website. Second, if you pay with a wallet instead of a saved card, keep a reminder for renewal day, since automatic renewal depends on having an eligible payment method saved. Which plan should a student pick? Buy for the project you have now, not the one you might build someday. You can upgrade later without moving hosts. Your project What you need Sensible starting plan Portfolio or CV site Domain, SSL, static pages Entry-level web hosting WordPress blog PHP, MySQL, email, backups Premium web hosting Privacy policy + landing page for an Android app Domain, simple pages, support email Premium web hosting Next.js or Express final-year project Node.js runtime, Git deploys Business web hosting (supports Node.js apps) Learning Linux, Docker, or DevOps Root access, SSH, your own stack Entry KVM VPS How the coupon discount works A coupon code takes an extra percentage off the price shown at checkout. It stacks on top of the promotional price already on the plan page, not on the renewal price. When you open Hostinger through my referral link, code WEBHOST2026 is usually applied for you. Coupons tend to cover specific plans and longer billing periods, so if the discount doesn't show, try a 12-month or longer term first. You'll always see the discounted total before paying. Hostinger also has a separate student discount program. Check its eligibility rules too, and compare it against the coupon, since discounts generally can't be combined. How to buy hosting in PKR, step by step Enable online transactions on your debit card, or make sure your JazzCash account has enough balance. Open Hostinger through my referral link and confirm prices are shown in rupees. Choose the plan that matches your project from the table above. Select a billing period and note the renewal price shown. At checkout, check that the discount from code WEBHOST2026 is already applied. If it isn't, enter it in the coupon field and confirm the updated total before paying. Create your account, pay, and claim your free domain if your plan includes one. Turn on SSL and set up your email address from the dashboard. Mistakes to avoid Buying a VPS for a portfolio. You'll spend more time managing a server than building your site. Ignoring the renewal date. Add it to your calendar the day you buy. Registering the domain under someone else's account. Keep the domain in your own name so you control it. Choosing a month-to-month plan to "save money." Monthly terms usually cost more per month. FAQ Can I pay for Hostinger with JazzCash? Yes. JazzCash is listed as a payment option for Hostinger's Pakistan site. Do I need a credit card? No. A debit card with online payments enabled, or JazzCash, works on the Pakistan site. Is free hosting a better option for students? Free platforms are great for learning and demos. September 26, 2026 · Web Hosting · 9 min read Hostinger vs Vercel vs Netlify: Which One Should Developers Use? These three platforms solve different problems, so the right choice depends on what you're shipping, not which one is "best." Quick verdict Vercel is best for Next.js projects and personal side projects that fit the free Hobby plan. Netlify is best for static sites, Jamstack projects, and simple forms or serverless functions. Hostinger is best when you need flat pricing, email on your own domain, WordPress, databases, or a commercial site on a tight budget. Disclosure: This post contains my Hostinger referral link. If you buy through it, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I've tried to keep this comparison fair, including the cases where Hostinger is not the right pick. Jump to What each platform actually is Side-by-side comparison The commercial-use rule most tutorials skip Which one fits your project FAQ What each platform actually is People compare these three as if they were the same product. They aren't, and that's the source of most bad hosting decisions. Vercel is a frontend cloud built by the team behind Next.js. You push to Git, it builds and deploys automatically, and server logic runs as serverless functions. Billing on paid plans is usage-based. Netlify works in a similar Git-based way and is strong for static sites. New accounts now use a credit-based model, where deploys, bandwidth, compute, and requests all draw from one monthly credit pool. Hostinger is a traditional web host with shared, cloud, and VPS plans that has added developer features. Its Business and Cloud plans now run Node.js web apps deployed from GitHub, a ZIP upload, or directly from your editor, and pricing is a flat plan fee rather than per-usage billing. Vercel's Hobby plan is limited to personal, non-commercial use , and Vercel defines commercial use broadly. If a site takes payments, runs ads, or is built by a paid freelancer for a client, it generally needs a paid plan. That means a landing page for a monetized Android app, or a client website you're paid to build, shouldn't sit on Hobby. None of this makes Vercel a bad choice. It just means "free" only applies to hobby projects, and you should compare the paid tiers when your project earns money. Which one fits your project Choose Vercel if… You're building with Next.js and want features like ISR and preview deployments to just work. It's a portfolio, demo, or side project that doesn't make money. Your team is comfortable with usage-based billing and watches its dashboard. Choose Netlify if… Your site is mostly static, such as docs, a blog built with a static generator, or a marketing page. You want built-in form handling without writing a backend. You like one credit number to track instead of many separate limits. Choose Hostinger if… You need a fixed yearly cost you can plan around, which matters a lot if you're paying in PKR or another non-USD currency. You want a domain, SSL, professional email , and hosting in one account. For an app developer, that covers your privacy policy page, app-ads.txt, and support email together. You're running WordPress, a PHP app, or a Node.js/Express backend with MySQL. You want to grow into a VPS later without switching providers. A common hybrid setup You don't have to pick only one. Many developers keep a Next.js frontend on Vercel and use Hostinger for the domain, business email, and a backend or WordPress blog. Just point DNS records correctly and each service does what it's best at. How to get Hostinger with the coupon Open Hostinger through this referral link . Pick a plan. Business or Cloud if you need Node.js apps, Premium for a simple site or WordPress blog. Choose your billing period. Longer terms usually get the biggest discount, but check the renewal price too. At checkout, check that the discount from code WEBHOST2026 is already applied. If it isn't, enter it in the coupon field and confirm the updated total before paying. If the code still doesn't apply, it may not cover that plan or billing period, so try a longer term. FAQ Can I host a Next.js app on Hostinger? Yes. Business and Cloud plans support Node.js web apps with GitHub deployment. For full control over Node versions and processes, a VPS is the other option. Is Vercel really free? The Hobby plan is free for personal, non-commercial projects. Anything that makes money needs a paid plan under Vercel's own fair use guidelines. Which is cheapest for a small business site? For a commercial site with modest traffic, flat-rate hosting is usually easier to budget than usage-based billing. The honest answer depends on your traffic and whether you need email and a database. Can I switch later? Yes. If your code lives in Git and your domain is at a registrar you control, moving between these platforms is mostly a matter of redeploying and updating DNS. That's the appreciation this post is really about — not my opinion first, but everyone else's. What professional testers say TechRadar's 2026 testing team, who run hands-on trials on every host they cover, came away calling Hostinger a strong option for both beginners and more advanced users thanks to its pricing and feature set. Their testers highlighted the custom hPanel control panel in particular, noting it goes further than the industry-standard cPanel by folding page-speed monitoring, malware scanning, and analytics into one beginner-friendly dashboard. They weren't uncritical, though — the same review flagged that Hostinger's shared plans aren't built for the most demanding, high-traffic sites, that write speeds are noticeably throttled on lower tiers, and that there's no fully managed VPS option for people who want everything handled for them. That's a fair trade-off if you're hosting a portfolio, blog, or small business site rather than a large application. What real customers say Verified buyer reviews on Capterra paint a more mixed, more human picture — which is exactly why I trust them. A digital marketing manager described setting up domain and hosting together as genuinely easy, though he pointed out that renewal pricing jumps noticeably after the first term — worth knowing before you commit to a long plan. A frontend engineer said uptime and the hPanel experience impressed him for WordPress hosting, while a different reviewer who scaled up traffic on a business plan ran into slow support responses when things went wrong. The pattern that shows up again and again: people consistently praise how quickly they can get a site live and how approachable the panel is for non-technical users, while the recurring complaint is support response times during a spike or outage, and the step up in price at renewal. That balance — easy to start, worth double-checking at renewal — matches my own experience closely enough that it's the reason I still point people toward Hostinger for a first site. My own take, after reading all of that None of that is why I use Hostinger for client and personal projects — but it lines up with why. For a portfolio site, a small blog, or a first client project, the setup speed and the AI-assisted builder mean you're live the same day, and the panel doesn't require you to know server administration. If you're planning to scale traffic hard or need guaranteed fast support during an incident, weigh that against the reviews above before you buy four years upfront. Both, based on independent testing and verified customer reviews — it's consistently praised for ease of use and value on entry-level sites, with the trade-off being less headroom for very demanding traffic and slower support at times. What's the most common complaint? Support response time during outages or spikes, and the jump in renewal price after the first discounted term — both worth planning around rather than ignoring. The deal, in one line Apply WEBHOST2026 at checkout to knock an extra 20% off on top of Hostinger's current sale price. It's for new customers , needs a 12-month or longer plan, and applies to your first term . Open Hostinger with the discount pre-applied → Transparency note: the link above is my referral link. If you buy through it you get the extra 20% off, and I may earn a small reward at no extra cost to you. I only recommend hosts I'd actually put my own projects on. What WEBHOST2026 actually gets you Most people search "hostinger coupon code" expecting a code you paste into a box. Hostinger's system is slightly different: WEBHOST2026 is a referral-style code that unlocks an extra 20% discount for new accounts . It does not replace Hostinger's sale price — it stacks on top of it. You can trigger it two ways: click the referral link and the discount is applied automatically at checkout, or open Hostinger's pricing page, choose a plan, and type WEBHOST2026 into the "Have a coupon code?" field before you pay. Either way, confirm the discounted total shows in your cart before entering card details. How the discount stacks Hostinger almost always runs a large public promotion on longer billing terms — the headline "up to 75–80% off" you see on their homepage. That intro discount is already baked into the advertised price. The coupon then adds its own layer: Layer 1 — Hostinger's live sale: the deep intro discount tied to a 24- or 48-month term. Layer 2 — WEBHOST2026: an extra 20% off that first-term total, for new customers only. Because promo pricing shifts week to week and by country (Pakistan pricing shows in local currency), I won't quote a fixed monthly figure that would be outdated tomorrow. The number in your cart at checkout is the real one — that's the only price you should trust. Which Hostinger plan should you pick? The coupon works across shared, WordPress, cloud, and VPS plans. For most new sites the choice comes down to three tiers. Exact storage and site limits change over time, so treat the specs below as a guide and confirm them on the live pricing page. Plan Best for Key highlights Free domain (yr 1) Premium First site, portfolio, small blog Multiple websites, free SSL, weekly backups, AI website builder, email Yes Business Growing sites, agencies, small stores Faster NVMe storage, LiteSpeed cache, daily backups, free CDN Yes Cloud Startup High-traffic sites needing headroom Dedicated resources, dedicated IP, priority support, more sites Yes If you're launching your first project, Premium is the usual pick — it's the cheapest entry point and includes a free domain for year one. If you care about speed for SEO (Core Web Vitals) or you're building for clients, Business is the better long-term value because of NVMe storage and built-in caching. How to apply the WEBHOST2026 coupon code Open Hostinger through the discount link so the referral session is tracked. Pick your hosting type and plan (Premium, Business, or Cloud Startup). Choose a billing term of 12 months or longer — monthly billing does not qualify for the extra 20%. At checkout, expand "Have a coupon code?" and enter WEBHOST2026 , then click Apply. (If you clicked the link, it may already be applied.) Confirm the discounted total is showing, create your account, and complete payment. The honest fine print A discount is only a good deal if you know what happens after. Here's what the flashy coupon pages tend to bury: You pay the full term upfront. A 48-month plan is charged as one lump sum at checkout, not month by month. Renewals cost more. The discount applies to the first term only . When it renews, the price goes up to Hostinger's standard rate — plan for that before you commit to four years. New accounts only. Existing customers can't reuse the code on a second account. One discount per order. You can't stack WEBHOST2026 with a separate third-party coupon. Domains don't count. The extra 20% applies to hosting plans, not domain-only purchases or renewals. 30-day money-back guarantee. Most hosting plans are refundable within 30 days (domains and some extras are not), so you can test risk-free. Frequently asked questions Is WEBHOST2026 a real working coupon? Yes — it's an official referral-style code that applies an extra 20% for new Hostinger accounts. The final proof is always your checkout total; if the discount doesn't appear, reopen the link and re-enter the code. Does the coupon work on monthly plans? No. The extra 20% needs a minimum 12-month term. Most people choose 24 or 48 months to get the lowest effective monthly rate. Can existing customers use it? It's for new customers only. If you already have a Hostinger account, look inside hPanel for renewal offers instead. What's the best plan for a beginner? Premium — it's affordable, includes a free domain for the first year, and handles a portfolio, blog, or small business site comfortably. Move up to Business when you need more speed or are hosting client work. Why it happens in 2026 and how to install a matching Expo Go build on any device. August 17, 2026 · React Native & Expo · 8 min read Fix: "Project Is Incompatible With This Version of Expo Go" Your project runs fine, but Expo Go refuses to open it and throws a version error. Here's exactly why it happens in 2026 and how to install a matching Expo Go build on any device. Short version: the Expo SDK in your project doesn't match the Expo Go build on your device. Since SDK 55, Expo Go is no longer on the Apple App Store, so you can't just "update the app." Install a matching build from sign.expo.dev (physical iPhone) or expo.dev/go (Android and simulators) — or switch to a development build to make the problem disappear for good. What the error actually means Expo Go shows this when the SDK version your project targets doesn't match the SDK baked into the installed app. You'll see one of these on the device screen after scanning the QR code: Project is incompatible with this version of Expo Go The project you requested requires a newer version of Expo Go This project requires a newer version of Expo Go Each build of Expo Go ships with exactly one Expo SDK version. The expo package in your package.json decides your project's SDK. If the two don't line up, Expo Go stops rather than crash halfway. So this is a compatibility gate, not a bug in your code. Why it keeps happening in 2026 Expo Go on the Apple App Store stops at SDK 54 . SDK 55 and later were never approved there, so any project on 55, 56, or 57 cannot run on an App Store copy of Expo Go — updating the app does nothing. The Google Play build can also lag behind a fresh SDK release by days or weeks, so Android sees a milder version of the same problem. This is an App Store review situation, not something Expo can patch. Instead, Expo distributes matching builds through its own channels, which is what the fixes below use. Step 1: Confirm your project's SDK version Before installing anything, check which SDK you're actually on. Open package.json and read the expo dependency: # Check the Expo SDK your project targets cat package.json | grep '"expo"' Example output: "expo": "~57.0.15" -> you are on SDK 57 Also check whether your app config still carries a stale sdkVersion . If app.json or app.config.js has an sdkVersion field, remove it or make it match the expo dependency. A mismatch between those two values triggers the same error. Step 2: Pick the fix for your setup The right fix depends on the device you're testing on and the SDK you're targeting. Where you test Project SDK What to do Physical iPhone / iPad 55 or later Install from sign.expo.dev (free, ~7-day certificate) Physical iPhone / iPad 54 Install from the App Store, or use eas go + TestFlight Physical iPhone / iPad 53 or older Can't sideload old Expo Go — upgrade, use a simulator, or make a dev build Android device or emulator Any recent Download from expo.dev/go or the expo-go CLI iOS Simulator Any recent Download from expo.dev/go or the expo-go CLI Any device (production app) Any Create a development build and stop using Expo Go Fix for a physical iPhone or iPad (SDK 55+) Since the App Store copy tops out at SDK 54, Expo lets you self-sign a matching build using your Apple ID's free developer provisioning — no paid Apple Developer Program membership needed. Open sign.expo.dev in your browser and sign in with your Expo account. Select the SDK version your project uses (for example, SDK 57). Follow the on-screen steps to install the provisioning profile and the Expo Go build on your device. Restart the dev server with npx expo start and open the project again. The free certificate is valid for about seven days . When it expires, the app stops opening — head back to sign.expo.dev to re-sign and reinstall. That's an Apple provisioning limit, not an Expo one. Need something longer-lived for a team? See the TestFlight route below. Fix for a physical iPhone (SDK 54, or team testing) If your project is on SDK 54 , install Expo Go straight from the App Store — that's the last version Apple approved. For teams who want to skip the 7-day re-signing, you can build your own Expo Go with eas go and hand it out through TestFlight internal testing. That path needs a paid Apple Developer Program membership. Expo documents the full flow in its deploy Expo Go to TestFlight guide. Fix for Android, Android Emulator, or iOS Simulator These platforms allow sideloading, so grabbing a matching build is quick. The simplest route is the web installer: open expo.dev/go , choose your SDK version and target platform, and install the build it gives you. Prefer the terminal? The expo-go CLI downloads a binary for a given platform and SDK. Note the argument order — it's , and you can pass latest or pin an exact version: # Download the latest Expo Go for Android npx expo-go download android latest Pin a specific SDK (e.g. SDK 57) for the iOS Simulator npx expo-go download ios 57 Just print the download URL instead of fetching npx expo-go url android latest One caveat: the expo-go CLI works for Android devices, Android Emulators, and the iOS Simulator — not a physical iPhone, because Apple blocks sideloading older app versions. After installing, uninstall any old Expo Go to avoid conflicts, then run npx expo start again. Still incompatible? Realign your dependencies If the error survives a matching Expo Go install, your packages are probably out of sync with the SDK. Run the built-in checks: # 1. Diagnose dependency and config issues npx expo-doctor@latest 2. Align every package with your installed SDK npx expo install --fix 3. Remove any stale sdkVersion field from app.json / app.config.js The SDK should come only from the expo package version 4. Clear caches and restart clean rm -rf node_modules .expo npm install npx expo start -c On rare occasions a freshly published store build can still reject a brand-new SDK because of a client-side bug rather than your project. If everything above checks out and it still fails, a development build sidesteps the whole compatibility handshake. The permanent fix: a development build Expo Go is a sandbox for learning and quick prototypes. For anything headed to production — or any project using custom native modules — Expo's own recommendation is to move to a development build . The native runtime is compiled for your exact project, so the SDK-mismatch error can never appear again, and you still get hot reloading and the dev tools. # Add the dev client npx expo install expo-dev-client Generate native projects and run locally npx expo prebuild npx expo run:android npx expo run:ios Or build for the team with EAS eas build --profile development --platform android eas build --profile development --platform ios There's a one-time build cost of a few minutes, but after that the version wall is gone. If you're only supporting SDK 54 for now, you can also downgrade with npx expo install expo@^54.0.0 --fix — treat that as a temporary workaround, since you'll lose newer SDK APIs. FAQ I updated Expo Go and it still says incompatible. Why? The App Store version is frozen at SDK 54. Updating it won't add SDK 55+ support. Install a matching build from sign.expo.dev (iPhone) or expo.dev/go (Android and simulators) instead. Do I need a paid Apple Developer account? No. The sign.expo.dev method uses your Apple ID's free provisioning. The only cost is re-signing roughly every seven days. A paid account is only needed for the longer-lived TestFlight route via eas go . What's the difference between Expo Go and a development build? Expo Go is a prebuilt app with a fixed SDK and native modules. A development build is compiled for your project, includes exactly the native code you use, and never hits the SDK-mismatch gate. Here's what the new Generative AI report shows. August 10, 2026 · SEO & Tools · 8 min read Search Console Now Shows Your AI Overviews and AI Mode Impressions Google Search Console has a new Generative AI performance report, and for the first time you can see how often your pages show up inside AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Discover's AI features — separately from your regular search data. Quick version: Open Performance in Search Console and look for a new Generative AI tab. It shows impressions only — no clicks, CTR, or queries yet — broken down by page, country, device, and date. It's rolling out gradually, so it may not be in your account on day one. What this report actually is Until now, if your content showed up in an AI Overview or AI Mode answer, that activity was buried inside your normal Web search totals in the Performance report. There was no way to isolate it. You could see traffic existed, but not attribute it to AI surfaces specifically. Google's new Generative AI performance reports fix that by giving you a dedicated view. The underlying data isn't new or separate — it's still counted inside the overall Performance report — but you now get a filtered lens that shows just the AI-surface slice of it. Two reports: Search and Discover There are actually two separate reports, and they don't overlap: Report What it covers Generative AI (Search) Impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode Generative AI (Discover) Impressions from AI-generated features inside Discover Search Labs experiments aren't included in either report yet, since those features are still considered experimental. What the report shows — and what it leaves out Right now it's an impressions-only report. You can slice by page, country, device, and date to see which content is getting surfaced, but there's no click data, no CTR, no average position, and no query-level breakdown yet. That's a meaningful limit worth sitting with. Knowing a page appeared inside an AI answer tells you it was used — it doesn't tell you whether anyone acted on it, or which query triggered it. Treat this as a visibility signal, not a full performance metric. How to check if you have it Open Google Search Console and select your property. Go to Performance in the left sidebar. Look for a Generative AI tab alongside the standard Search results view. If it's there, choose the Search or Discover version and pick a dimension — pages, countries, or devices — to break the data down. If it's not there yet, that's normal — Google is rolling this out to a subset of sites first, based on how much AI-surface traffic a property already gets. There's also an opt-out toggle Alongside the reports, Google is adding a control that lets a site opt its content out of appearing in generative AI features entirely. Google has said this won't be used as a ranking signal for regular organic results — opting out only affects AI-feature visibility, not your normal search rankings. Why it matters for app content If you publish tutorials, feature breakdowns, or how-to posts about your apps, some of that traffic has always been quietly flowing through AI Overviews and AI Mode without you being able to see it. This report is the first way to check which posts are actually getting picked up by generative features versus which ones only rank in classic blue-link results. It's early data with a narrow metric, so don't over-read a single week of numbers. But watching which pages start showing up here over the next few months is a reasonable way to spot which of your writing style Google's AI features favor. What it doesn't do It doesn't show clicks, CTR, or which query triggered the impression — yet. It doesn't cover ChatGPT, Perplexity, or other AI tools — this is Google Search and Discover only. It doesn't change your rankings or crawl behavior — it's a reporting tool, not an optimization lever. It's not available to every property immediately — rollout is gradual. Links Open Google Search Console More app & SEO guides on muhammadhuzaifa.com If any of your posts are already getting traction in classic search, it's worth checking back on this report in a few weeks — right now it's one of the only ways to see whether Google's AI features are actually reading and reusing your content. July 30, 2026 · SEO & Tools · 11 min read Google Search Console Now Tracks Instagram, TikTok, X & YouTube Google has added a new property type called platform properties , letting you connect your Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube accounts to Search Console and see how that content performs in Google Search and Discover — no website required. Quick version: Open the property selector in Search Console, click Add property , and if the option has reached your account you'll now see Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube listed alongside "Add a website." It's a reporting tool — it shows Google-side discovery data, not a way to rank higher or a replacement for native app analytics. What platform properties actually are Until now, Search Console only reported on websites you own and verify. You added a domain, proved you controlled it, and Google showed you impressions, clicks, and queries for that site. If your audience lived on social or video instead, you were mostly in the dark about how Google itself surfaced your content. Platform properties remove that dependency entirely. A creator with an Instagram or TikTok presence and no website at all can now create a property and get dedicated reporting. That's the real shift here: Search Console is no longer only for site owners. Each connected account becomes its own property in your account list. Inside it, you get the reports you already know from website properties — just applied to social and video content instead of URLs. Your existing website properties stay exactly as they are; the social account is added as a separate, parallel property. A short history: this didn't come out of nowhere Google ran an earlier experiment in December 2025 called "social channels" inside Search Console Insights. It was a lighter preview — a small window into how a few social accounts showed up in Google, sitting inside the Insights report. The version launched this month is a proper property type, not a widget. The data now flows across the full Performance report, Insights, and Achievements, which means you can slice it by query and by post the same way you already analyze a website. That earlier experiment also didn't support creators with no website at all — the new launch does. Supported platforms at launch Four platforms are supported to start. Each is added separately, and each needs its own verification. Platform What you'll see Instagram How your posts and Reels surface in Search & Discover TikTok Which videos and queries drive Google traffic X Post visibility and impressions from Google YouTube Video performance in Search & Discover, separate from YouTube Studio How to add a platform property Setup follows the same pattern as adding any Search Console property: Open Google Search Console and go to the verification page, or click the property selector dropdown in the top-left corner. Click Add property . Choose one of the four platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, or YouTube . Sign in to the correct profile or channel and follow the prompts to authorize the connection securely. Once Google verifies ownership, click Go to property . Initial reporting may take a few days to populate. Repeat for every account — each profile requires its own separate property. If you manage multiple brand, creator, or client accounts, double-check you're signing into the right profile at the authorization step. It's easy to connect the wrong account when several are logged in on the same browser. Don't see it yet? That's normal. Google is rolling this out gradually over the coming weeks, so the option may not appear in every account at the same time. Nothing is broken on your end — check back in a few days. Some users have also reported a platform showing up automatically without going through manual verification, which is just the rollout reaching their account. The reports you get, and how to read them Once a property is verified and data starts flowing, you get three familiar reports. Here's what each one is good for. Performance report This is the workhorse. It shows total clicks , impressions , click-through rate (CTR) , and average position , and you can filter and sort to see which specific posts and queries drive the most traffic. If you already read a website Performance report, the mental model is identical — the difference is that a "page" might now be a TikTok video or an Instagram post. A few things worth watching: high-impression, low-click content (people see it in Search but don't tap), and position movement over time on your best-performing posts. Both tell you where a small change to a caption, title, or thumbnail could pay off. Insights Insights is the friendlier, more narrative view — good for spotting trends without digging through tables. It helps answer "what's working lately and why" at a glance, and it's where the earlier social-channels experiment first lived. Achievements Achievements highlights milestones and standout moments for your content. It's less about deep analysis and more about surfacing wins you might otherwise miss. Metric What it tells you Impressions How often your content appeared in Google Search or Discover Clicks How often people actually tapped through from Google CTR Clicks ÷ impressions — how compelling your listing is once seen Average position Roughly where your content ranks for the queries it appears on How this differs from your native analytics This is the part most people get wrong, so it's worth slowing down. Platform properties measure Google-side discovery only — the slice of your account that Google Search and Discover can see, display, and send traffic to. Your native analytics (YouTube Studio, TikTok's dashboard, Instagram Insights) still measure everything inside those apps: followers, watch time, saves, in-app reach, and so on. Platform properties don't replace any of that. They fill a gap that was previously almost invisible — how much of your reach comes from people finding you through Google rather than through the platform itself. Property type What it reports on Website property A domain or URL prefix you own and verify Platform property A social or video account's performance in Google Search & Discover Native app analytics Everything inside the platform itself — not a Search Console feature Why this matters for app developers If you build apps, you probably already promote them with short demo clips, feature announcements, and tutorial videos across YouTube, TikTok, or X. Until now you could see how those performed inside each app, but not how many people discovered your app content specifically through Google. With a platform property connected, you can start answering practical questions: which demo video pulls the most Google traffic, which queries lead people to your announcement posts, and whether a tutorial is being surfaced in Discover. That's useful signal when you're deciding what kind of promo content to make next — and it complements the website Search Console data you may already keep for your landing pages. What it does not do It's worth being clear on the limits so you read the data correctly. It is not a ranking boost. Connecting an account doesn't make your content rank higher — it only measures what's already happening. It is not an indexing tool. It won't push your posts into Google or change how they're crawled. It is not your native analytics in a new wrapper. It shows a narrower, Google-only view. It won't show data instantly. Give a newly verified property a few days before you judge it. Common questions Do I need a website to use it? No. That's the headline change. Creators with no site at all can now create a platform property and get reporting. Can I add more than one account? Yes — but each account is a separate property. If you run Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, that's four properties to add and verify individually. The option isn't in my account. Did I do something wrong? Almost certainly not. The feature is rolling out gradually, so availability varies from account to account. If you don't see it, wait and check again over the coming weeks. Will this change my existing website reports? No. Your website properties stay untouched. A platform property sits alongside them as a separate entry. Links Open Google Search Console Google's official announcement (Search Central Blog) More app & SEO guides on muhammadhuzaifa.com If you publish anywhere beyond your own site, this is a small setup step with a real payoff: for the first time, you can measure how your social and video content actually shows up on Google. Because content and case studies about it are still scarce, whoever gets comfortable with the data first has a genuine head start. Add your accounts, give the reports a few days, and start reading what Google is telling you. Pick Cursor if you want an AI-first IDE that edits across files while you stay in the loop. Choose Claude Code when you want to hand off a whole task in the terminal and review the result. Plenty of us run more than one. What each tool actually is These three get lumped together, but they're different shapes of tool, and that difference matters more than any feature list. GitHub Copilot is an assistant that plugs into the editor you already use. It runs in VS Code, JetBrains, Neovim, Xcode, and Visual Studio — the widest editor support of the three — and adds inline completions, chat, an agent mode, and a background coding agent you can hand a GitHub issue to. Cursor is a full IDE, built as a fork of VS Code, rebuilt around AI. Its Composer agent does multi-file edits, it indexes your whole codebase for context, and it lets you pick between models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) per task. Claude Code is terminal-native. It's a command-line agent that reads your files, runs tests, edits across the repo, and opens branches or PRs — you describe the task and review the diff rather than steering keystroke by keystroke. It also runs in the desktop and web apps. Pricing side by side All three moved to some form of usage-based billing in 2026, so the sticker price is only half the story — heavy agent work draws down credits or session limits faster than plain autocomplete. Prices below are current as of mid‑2026; always confirm on the official pages before you commit. Claude Code Cursor GitHub Copilot Form factor Terminal / CLI agent AI-first IDE (VS Code fork) Assistant inside your editor Free tier None Yes (Hobby) Yes Entry paid $20/mo (bundled in Claude Pro) $20/mo (Pro) $10/mo (Pro) Power-user tier Max $100–$200/mo Pro+ $60 / Ultra $200/mo Pro+ $39 / Max $100/mo Model choice Anthropic Claude models Claude, GPT, Gemini Claude, GPT, Gemini Editor support Editor-agnostic (terminal) Its own editor only VS Code, JetBrains, Neovim, Xcode, VS Standout Large-context autonomous tasks Multi-file Composer + codebase indexing Cheap, everywhere, GitHub-native Where each one wins Copilot is still the easiest to justify. Inline completions and next-edit suggestions stay free of usage credits on paid plans, so day-to-day typing rarely runs up a bill. If your team already lives on GitHub and you don't want to change editors, it's the lowest-friction option — and the autonomous agent that turns an issue into a pull request is genuinely useful for small, well-scoped tickets. Cursor is where I go when a change touches several files at once. Its whole-codebase indexing means it understands the shape of a project without me hand-feeding context, and Composer's multi-file edits with an inline diff review hit a nice middle ground: more capable than autocomplete, more controlled than a fully autonomous agent. The trade-off is that you have to commit to its editor. Claude Code shines on the big, boring, high-value jobs — a framework migration, a large refactor, wiring up a test suite, or getting oriented in an unfamiliar codebase. Because it works in the terminal against the real repo and holds a very large context, I can describe the outcome, walk away, and review a clean diff. The catch: there's no free tier, and heavy sessions can eat into your Claude usage limits. How I'd choose Want to keep your current editor and spend the least? Start with Copilot's free tier, upgrade to Pro ($10/mo) once you rely on chat and agent mode. Ready to switch editors for tighter AI integration? Try Cursor's free Hobby tier, then Pro ($20/mo) if multi-file edits become part of your daily flow. Doing large refactors or handing off whole tasks? Claude Code on a Claude Pro or Max plan pays off fastest where the alternative is hours of manual work. On a team? Weigh the credit/usage model, not just the seat price — agent-heavy workflows are what actually move the bill. Can't decide? Pair a cheap everyday assistant (Copilot) with one heavier agent (Cursor or Claude Code) for the big jobs. That combo covers most workflows. Links Claude Code Cursor GitHub Copilot More guides and my apps: muhammadhuzaifa.com There's no single winner here — the right pick is the one that matches how you actually work. July 17, 2026 · Productivity · 6 min read The 5 Claude AI Prompts I Use Daily as an App Developer I used to bookmark prompt lists and never open them twice. These five are the only ones that survived a year of actually building and running Android apps. The short version: none of these change who Claude pretends to be. They change what it's allowed to do — ask questions first, criticize without softening, argue against you, sort your mess, and read your users' reviews for patterns instead of noise. Why Most Prompt Lists Don't Stick Every "50 best AI prompts" post I've saved ended up unread. The problem was never the prompts themselves — it's that they were phrased as personalities ("act as a senior developer") instead of permissions. Telling Claude to act like an expert changes very little. Telling it what it's allowed to do that it normally wouldn't — interrupt you, disagree with you, refuse to be nice — changes almost everything. That's the pattern behind all five prompts below. 1. The Feature Clarifier Half of my worst outputs from Claude used to be my own fault. I'd describe a feature in two rushed sentences and get back the most generic implementation possible, because two sentences was all the context it had. This prompt flips that. Instead of guessing what I left out, Claude has to ask. Before you start, ask me one question at a time until you have enough context to do this properly. Skip anything you could reasonably work out yourself. When you're ready, summarize your plan in three short bullets and wait for me to confirm before writing anything. Here's what I need: [describe the feature, bug, or task] Use it for: new features, tricky bug reports, or anything where "just build something" would waste an hour. Skip it for: anything small enough to answer directly. 2. The Unforgiving Reviewer Claude's default review style is a friendly teammate who thinks your pull request is basically fine. That's not useful right before you ship. This prompt removes the politeness option entirely. Review what I've pasted below like a senior engineer who's seen this pattern break in production before. For every real issue: point to the exact line, explain the risk in one sentence, and show the fixed version. Then tell me the single change you'd push back on hardest if I ignored everything else. Don't tell me what's already fine. [paste your code or app store listing copy] I run this on code before a release and on Play Store descriptions before I publish them. It's blunt in a way that saves real debugging time later. 3. The Skeptical Advisor Whenever I tell Claude "I'm thinking of doing X," it tends to help me do X — even when X is a bad idea — because agreeableness is its default setting. This prompt makes disagreement the actual job. I'm about to do this: [describe the decision — a feature, a price change, a launch]. Before you agree with me, argue against it. Give me the strongest real case that it's a mistake, the risk I'm probably underestimating, and one question I should be able to answer confidently right now but probably can't. Only after that, tell me your honest read: is this actually a mistake, or is the case against it weaker than it sounds? I use it before anything with real cost attached — a monetization change, dropping a feature people rely on, or renaming an app people already search for by its old name. 4. The Backlog Sorter Between bug reports, feature ideas, and half-written emails, my task list is never actually a list — it's a pile. Sorting it myself just means I prioritize whatever I looked at most recently. Here's everything on my plate right now, unsorted and messy: [paste bugs, feature requests, reminders, anything]. Turn it into: the three things that actually matter this week and why, everything else with a rough "handle by" date, anything I should just delete along with your reasoning, and the one item here I'm clearly avoiding. That last part is the one that keeps me honest. Claude is oddly good at spotting the ticket I've quietly been avoiding for three weeks. 5. The Review Reader This one won't show up in most generic prompt roundups, because most people writing them aren't shipping an app. Play Store reviews are full of signal, but reading them one at a time hides the pattern underneath. Here are raw user reviews and support messages I've collected: [paste them]. Group them by the actual underlying problem, not by how each person worded it. Tell me which issue is likely costing me the most users, which one is a genuinely quick fix, and which complaints are really the same bug described three different ways. This has caught duplicate complaints I would've otherwise logged as three separate bugs, and it's faster than manually tagging fifty reviews by hand. Quick Reference Prompt Best for Skip when Feature Clarifier New features, unclear bugs Task is already small Unforgiving Reviewer Code or copy, pre-release First rough draft Skeptical Advisor High-stakes decisions Already decided, just venting Backlog Sorter Messy task lists List is already short Review Reader Play Store reviews, support tickets Fewer than a handful of reviews How to Actually Use These Save each one as a custom instruction in a Claude Project instead of retyping it every time. Replace the bracketed part with your real, specific context — vague input still gets you a vague answer. Use whichever prompt matches what you're actually stuck on. Running all five in one conversation defeats the point. Drop any prompt you haven't reached for again after a week. If it's not a habit, it's just another saved link. More from me I write about the Android apps I build and the tools I actually use to build them at muhammadhuzaifa.com . None of this is about finding the perfect prompt. It's about picking a small number of permissions and actually using them until they're reflexes, not bookmarks. July 16, 2026 · SEO & Growth · 7 min read The Complete SEO Roadmap: From Launching a Site to Building Real Authority I've grown this site and my app pages from zero traffic using the same order every time — foundation first, technical fixes before anything fancy, and authority-building saved for last because it only pays off once everything else is solid. Quick answer Get the site technically clean first (speed, mobile, crawlability). Then add structured data and images. Then make sure search engines and AI crawlers can actually discover every page. Only after that does backlink building start paying off. Phase Focus Core steps 1. Foundation Build it right from day one Website setup, keyword research, content plan 2. Technical SEO Make sure Google can read you Crawlability, Core Web Vitals, mobile, redirects 3. Structured data Look right everywhere you appear JSON-LD, OG images, image compression 4. Discovery Help search & AI crawlers find you Sitemap, robots.txt, llms.txt, human sitemap, Search Console, RSS 5. Authority Earn trust off-site Backlinks, topical authority, scaling links, DR growth 6. Maintain Keep what you built Track rankings, refresh old posts, repeat the loop Phase 1: Get the foundation right Everything downstream depends on this. Skip it and you'll spend the next two years fixing structural problems instead of growing. Build the website on clean architecture — simple URL structure, mobile-first layout, fast hosting, HTTPS from day one. Do keyword research before writing anything. Find what people actually search for, then group those terms into topics you can realistically rank for early on. Plan a content structure — pillar pages plus supporting posts — so your internal links have somewhere real to point. Phase 2: Fix technical SEO before anything else Structured data and backlinks can't rescue a site Google struggles to crawl or a page that loads slowly on mobile. Crawlability & indexing — make sure Google can actually reach and read every page you care about; check for accidental noindex tags and orphaned pages. Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, and CLS. A slow site quietly caps your rankings before content quality even gets considered. Mobile usability — Google indexes mobile-first, so if a page breaks on a phone, it breaks your rankings too. Clean redirects and links — no redirect chains, no broken internal links, canonical tags pointing to the right URL. Phase 3: Structured data and sharing This is how you look right in search results and when a link gets shared, instead of showing up as a blank card. JSON-LD schema — Organization and Article/BlogPosting schema sitewide, plus SoftwareApplication schema on app pages and FAQ schema where it fits naturally. Open Graph images — give every post and app page its own OG image, or it looks broken when shared on WhatsApp, X, or LinkedIn. Compress images — convert to WebP or AVIF, lazy-load anything below the fold, and write real alt text instead of leaving it blank. Phase 4: Help search engines and AI crawlers find everything This step gets rushed constantly, but a page nobody can find might as well not exist. XML sitemap — auto-generated and updated automatically whenever you publish. robots.txt — tell crawlers what to skip (admin routes, duplicate parameters) without accidentally blocking the whole site. llms.txt — a newer file that gives AI crawlers like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude a clean summary of what your site actually contains. Human-readable sitemap — an actual page listing your posts and apps, useful for visitors and for extra internal linking. Search Console — verify the property, submit your sitemap, and check coverage and performance weekly. Do the same in Bing Webmaster Tools while you're at it. RSS feed — helps posts get picked up by feed readers and some aggregators, and signals freshness. Phase 5: Build real authority off-site Nothing in the earlier phases earns rankings by itself — it just removes the reasons Google would ignore you. Authority is what actually moves you up. Backlinks — start with relevant, real links: guest posts on related blogs, honest directory listings, genuine partnerships. Quality beats volume every time. Topical authority — publish a cluster of related posts around each topic, all interlinked, so Google reads the site as a real source rather than one lucky page. Scale backlinks steadily — keep the pace natural. A sudden spike looks manufactured and can trigger a manual review instead of a ranking boost. Watch Domain Rating rise on its own — DR is a byproduct of link quality and quantity, not something to chase directly. Chase the links; DR follows. Phase 6: Maintain and measure SEO doesn't end at "done." Track rankings and traffic every month , refresh older posts that start slipping, and keep repeating the content-plus-backlink loop. The sites that keep growing are the ones that never fully stop. Related This is the same roadmap I use across every app and post on my own site. Browse muhammadhuzaifa.com to see it applied, or set up Google Search Console if you haven't already. SEO rewards patience more than tricks. Get the technical layer right, make yourself easy to find, and let backlinks build up naturally — the rankings follow. Saved both preferences — inline styles, and no max-width/no horizontal padding on the wrapper — so future posts default to this without you repeating it. Here's the same post with the corrected wrapper: July 15, 2026 · Web Development · 8 min read Common Next.js Deployment Errors on Vercel (and How to Fix Them) Your Next.js app runs perfectly on localhost:3000 , then breaks the moment you push to Vercel. It's one of the most common — and most confusing — moments in App Router development. Here are six errors that show up again and again, why they happen, and the exact fix for each. The short version: almost every "works locally, breaks on Vercel" bug traces back to one of three things — a Node or lockfile mismatch, a missing environment variable, or a case-sensitive file path. Rule those out first. Jump to an error: Build fails on Vercel but works locally "Module not found" from case-sensitive imports Environment variables undefined in production Images not loading API routes returning 500 only in production Stale data after deploy 1. Build fails on Vercel but works locally What it looks like: the deploy fails during "Installing dependencies" or "Building," even though npm run build works fine on your machine. The log usually shows a dependency resolution error or a syntax error in a file that "shouldn't" be affected. npm ERR! code ERESOLVE npm ERR! Unable to resolve dependency tree Error: Command "npm run build" exited with 1 Why it happens: Vercel installs dependencies fresh, using your lockfile, on whatever Node version is set in your project settings. If your local Node version differs from Vercel's, or your lockfile is out of sync with package.json , the install resolves differently — and packages that "just worked" locally suddenly don't. The fix: pin your Node version and make sure the lockfile is current. // package.json { "engines": { "node": "20.x" } } Delete node_modules and your lockfile locally, run npm install again, and commit the fresh lockfile. In Vercel, double-check the Node version under Project Settings → General. Prevent it next time: commit your lockfile every time you install or update a package, and never hand-edit it. 2. "Module not found" from case-sensitive imports What it looks like: the build fails only on Vercel, pointing at an import that works fine on your laptop. Module not found: Can't resolve './Components/button' Import trace: ./app/page.tsx Why it happens: macOS and Windows file systems are case-insensitive by default, so Button.tsx and button.tsx look identical to your editor. Vercel builds on Linux, which is case-sensitive — so an import path that doesn't match the file's exact casing fails there, and only there. The fix: match the import to the file's exact casing. // Before import Button from './Components/button' // After — matches the real filename exactly import Button from './components/Button' If you're not sure where the mismatch is, search your imports for the folder or file name and compare it letter-by-letter against your actual file tree. Prevent it next time: pick one casing convention for files and folders (lowercase, or PascalCase for components) and stick to it project-wide. 3. Environment variables undefined in production What it looks like: a feature that reads an env var works locally but the value is undefined once deployed — often a broken API call or a feature flag that's silently always off. console.log(process.env.NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL) // undefined — in the browser, on the live site Why it happens: two rules trip people up here. Any env var read in browser-side code must be prefixed with NEXT_PUBLIC_ , or it gets stripped out at build time. And Vercel never reads your local .env.local file — every variable has to be added manually in the dashboard, per environment. The fix: rename the variable if it's used client-side, then add it in Vercel: Project → Settings → Environment Variables → add the key and value → select Production/Preview/Development → redeploy. Prevent it next time: keep an .env.example file in the repo listing every variable name, and check it against the Vercel dashboard before each deploy. 4. Images not loading What it looks like: a broken image icon, or a thrown error naming a hostname that "isn't configured." Error: Invalid src prop (https://cdn.example.com/photo.jpg) on `next/image`, hostname "cdn.example.com" is not configured under images in your `next.config.js` Why it happens: next/image optimizes and proxies external images, but only from domains you've explicitly allowed. A plain tag would just work, which is why this one catches people off guard the first time. The fix: allow-list the domain. // next.config.js module.exports = { images: { remotePatterns: [ { protocol: 'https', hostname: 'cdn.example.com' }, ], }, } Redeploy after saving — config changes don't apply to a deployment that's already running. Prevent it next time: whenever you add a new image source (a CMS, a CDN, a storage bucket), add its hostname to remotePatterns in the same commit. 5. API routes returning 500 only in production What it looks like: a route works fine at localhost:3000/api/... , then returns a 500 once deployed, with no obvious clue on the page itself. Why it happens: usually one of two things — a server-side environment variable missing in production (same root cause as #3, but server-side), or a runtime mismatch: code using a Node-only API (like fs or a native database driver) while the route is set to run on the Edge runtime. The fix: open the Vercel dashboard → your deployment → Functions/Logs tab and read the actual stack trace rather than guessing. Add any missing env vars, and if the error mentions an unsupported module, switch the route back to the Node runtime: // app/api/route.ts export const runtime = 'nodejs' // instead of 'edge' Prevent it next time: check the Functions/Logs tab right after any deploy that touches an API route — a successful build doesn't guarantee the function actually runs. 6. Stale data after deploy What it looks like: you update content in your CMS or database, redeploy, and the live site keeps showing the old version. Why it happens: in the App Router, fetch caches responses by default unless told otherwise. Without an explicit cache setting, Next.js happily keeps serving the old cached response even after a fresh deploy. The fix: choose a caching strategy on purpose, per fetch call. // Always fresh fetch(url, { cache: 'no-store' }) // Refresh at most once every 60 seconds fetch(url, { next: { revalidate: 60 } }) Prevent it next time: decide upfront how fresh each piece of data actually needs to be, and set it explicitly instead of leaving it on the default. A quick pre-deploy checklist Node version in package.json matches the version set in Vercel. Lockfile is committed and up to date. Every import's casing matches the actual filename. All required environment variables are added in the Vercel dashboard, per environment. Every external image domain is listed in next.config.js . You've checked Functions/Logs after deploying anything touching an API route. Each fetch call has an intentional cache or revalidate setting. Useful links Next.js App Router deployment docs Vercel documentation More guides on muhammadhuzaifa.com None of these are exotic bugs — they're the same handful of gotchas every Next.js developer runs into sooner or later. See why E-E-A-T, real experience, and quality content are what actually drive Google rankings in 2026. 📅 July 9, 2026 🏷️ SEO Strategy ⏱️ 7 min read EEAT · Content Strategy DA Score Won't Save You: Why E-E-A-T and Real Content Quality Actually Rank A practical breakdown of why Domain Authority alone won't rank your content — and how E-E-A-T, real experience, and genuinely useful content actually do. If you're chasing a high Domain Authority (DA) score as your primary SEO goal, you're optimizing for the wrong scoreboard . A DA 20 blog post that answers the reader's question with real expertise will consistently outrank a DA 60 page filled with generic, recycled content. DA doesn't rank pages — E-E-A-T and content quality do . ❌ Common misconception: Domain Authority is not a Google ranking factor. It's a third-party metric created by Moz to estimate backlink strength. Google's algorithm has never confirmed using DA in any form. What DA Actually Measures DA estimates how likely a site is to rank, based purely on backlink profile strength and quantity. It's useful for competitive research and benchmarking — but it's a proxy metric , not something Google's ranking systems read or reward directly. Common Misconceptions 🔢 "My DA is 50, I should outrank DA 20 sites." — False. Relevance and depth win per query. 🔗 "More backlinks always mean better rankings." — One in-depth, well-sourced article can outperform ten backlink-heavy pages. 📊 "DA reflects Google's opinion of my site." — DA is calculated independently by Moz, not Google's index. ✅ Real example: A client with DA 38 outranked a competitor at DA 61 on "React performance optimization techniques" within 11 weeks — by including original benchmark data, tested code snippets, and clear tradeoff explanations. That's E-E-A-T in action. Why E-E-A-T Is the Metric That Actually Matters E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) is the framework Google's Search Quality Raters use to evaluate content — and it increasingly correlates with how the core algorithm treats pages, especially in YMYL niches like finance, health, and technical advice. The Four Pillars Experience: Have you actually done the thing you're writing about? Expertise: Do you explain not just "what" but "why" and "when it fails"? Authoritativeness: Do credible sources reference your work naturally? Trustworthiness: Is your content accurate, transparent, and honest about limitations? A Practical Comparison Imagine two articles targeting "best caching strategy for Node.js APIs": Article A: Generic Redis summary, no benchmarks, no author credentials. Article B: Real latency numbers — e.g., reduced average response time from 340ms to 45ms using Redis with a 5-minute TTL — plus a linked repo and discussion of cache invalidation bugs actually debugged. Article B wins. Not because of DA — because it demonstrates lived experience that thin or AI-generated content can't replicate. High-Quality Content Beats Random Content Every Time Google's helpful content systems are built to demote content written primarily for search engines rather than people. Random Content Looks Like 🚫 Keyword-stuffed pages with no unique insight 🚫 Rehashed summaries of the top 3 search results 🚫 Thin posts published just to hit a word count High-Quality Content Looks Like ✅ Original data, case studies, or personal project outcomes ✅ Answer-first structure that satisfies intent within the first 100 words ✅ Depth covering edge cases and practical next steps ✅ Code samples, screenshots, or visuals proving the claims ✅ Illustrative benchmark: Sites shifting from 10 thin posts/month to 4 in-depth, experience-backed posts commonly report organic traffic gains of 60–120% within six months post-Helpful Content Update. Experience Is Your Unfair Advantage As a developer, your biggest SEO asset isn't your backlink profile — it's that you've actually built, broken, and fixed things. Content mills can't replicate that. 📁 Document real projects with specific outcomes and numbers 🖥️ Show your process — including what didn't work 🔄 Refresh old content with new data and visible update dates 👤 Build a credible author profile with portfolio and project history Frequently Asked Questions ❓ Is a low DA score hurting my rankings? Not directly. DA isn't a Google ranking factor, so a low score doesn't cap your visibility — weak content quality does. ❓ Should I stop tracking DA entirely? No — it's still useful for competitive benchmarking. Just don't treat it as a ranking guarantee or optimization target. ❓ What's the fastest way to improve E-E-A-T? Add a detailed author bio, cite real project experience with specifics, and update existing content with fresh data rather than only publishing new pages. Stop chasing DA as a vanity metric. Learn the exact structure that helps videos rank for more keywords. 📅 July 8, 2026 🏷️ YouTube SEO ⏱️ 10 min read Content Strategy · Growth Why Thin YouTube Descriptions Are Quietly Killing Your Channel's Growth Most creators write a title, skip the description, and wonder why their videos plateau. Here's the SEO concept behind it, why it costs you real viewers, and exactly how to fix it. If you publish a video with just a title and nothing else, you're not just leaving views on the table — you're actively telling YouTube's algorithm and Google's search index that your video has almost no context to match against anyone's search. This is the same "thin content" problem that hurts websites in Google Search, just applied to video. And it's fixable in under ten minutes per upload. ❌ Common misconception: A good title alone is enough if the content itself is good. It isn't. YouTube can't "watch" your video to understand what it's about — it relies heavily on text (title, description, tags, captions) to know which searches and suggested-video slots your video deserves to appear in. What "Thin Content" Means on YouTube In Google Search, "thin content" refers to pages with little substantive text — nothing for the search engine to meaningfully index or rank. On YouTube, the equivalent is a video upload where the metadata (title, description, tags) carries almost no information. Even a genuinely great video can underperform if its metadata gives the algorithm nothing to work with. YouTube's system doesn't understand your video's content directly at scale — it leans on the words around it. How a Missing Description Actually Loses You Viewers Here's what happens, concretely, when you skip the description: 🔍 You lose YouTube search matches — your video only ranks for the exact words in your title, instead of every related phrase a viewer might actually type 🌐 You lose Google Search visibility — Google indexes YouTube video descriptions and can surface your video for web searches, not just YouTube-internal searches. No description means nothing for Google to match 🔁 You lose "suggested video" placement — the algorithm uses description text (alongside watch patterns) to decide which videos are topically similar enough to recommend next to yours 🏷️ You lose long-tail keyword traffic — a single video can realistically rank for 10–30 related search phrases if the description supports them; a title-only upload might rank for one 📌 You lose retention tools — no timestamps means no chapter markers, so viewers who wanted one specific part just leave instead of skipping to it The Core SEO Concept: Metadata Is Your Ranking Surface Think of your title, description, and tags as the only "readable" version of your video that a search engine has access to. The richer and more accurately keyword-matched that text is, the more search queries your video becomes eligible to rank for. This works the same way a blog post ranks for many keywords, not just the one in its headline — because the body text supports dozens of related phrases. The Description Structure That Actually Ranks A strong description isn't just "more text" — it's structured so both the algorithm and human viewers get what they need in the first few seconds. 1. First 2–3 Lines (Above the "Show More" Fold) Only the first ~100–150 characters show before a viewer has to click "more." This is prime real estate — write a natural sentence that includes your main keyword, not a generic intro. ❌ Weak: "New video! Hope you enjoy, don't forget to like and subscribe." ✅ Strong: "Learn how to fix Next.js hydration errors caused by Date(), browser extensions, and window checks — with real code fixes for each root cause." 2. Full Keyword-Rich Summary (200–400 words) Expand on what the video covers using natural language variations of your target keyword — not the same phrase repeated, but the way real people phrase the same search intent differently. 3. Timestamps / Chapters 00:00 Intro 01:12 Why hydration errors happen 03:45 Fix 1: Date() and Math.random() 06:20 Fix 2: Browser extensions 08:50 Fix 3: window/localStorage checks 11:30 Fix 4: Invalid HTML nesting Timestamps double as extra keyword text (each chapter title is searchable) and directly improve retention, since viewers can jump to the exact part they need instead of leaving. 4. Relevant Links and Hashtags Link to related videos, your website, or resources mentioned — this builds topical authority and keeps viewers inside your ecosystem. Add 2–3 relevant hashtags at the end (not 15 — that reads as spam and can bury the ones that matter). ✅ Best Practice: Write your description like a mini blog post about the video, not an afterthought. If you wouldn't publish a blog post with one sentence and no structure, don't publish a video description that way either. It's Not Just the Description — The Whole Metadata Set Matters 🏷️ Tags: still help YouTube understand context and misspellings/variants of your topic, even though their ranking weight has decreased over the years 📝 Closed captions/transcript: YouTube can index your spoken words too — accurate captions effectively multiply your searchable text 🖼️ Thumbnail + title pairing: gets you the click; description and captions get you the ranking. You need both — good metadata without a compelling thumbnail still won't get clicked 📌 Pinned comment: a good pinned comment with a question or link adds engagement signals, which indirectly help distribution Pre-Publish Checklist ✅ First 2–3 lines of the description include your main keyword naturally 🔍 Full description is 200+ words and covers related search phrases, not just one repeated keyword 🕒 Timestamps/chapters added for anything over 3–4 minutes long 🔗 Links to related videos, playlists, or your site included 🏷️ 2–3 relevant hashtags, not a spam list 📝 Auto-captions reviewed and corrected, not left as raw auto-transcription Frequently Asked Questions ❓ Does a longer description always rank better? No — length alone doesn't help. A 400-word description packed with genuinely relevant keyword variations outperforms a 1,000-word description that's vague or repetitive. Depth and relevance matter more than word count. ❓ Can keyword stuffing in the description hurt me? Yes. Repeating the same keyword unnaturally reads as spam to both viewers and YouTube's systems, and can suppress rather than help visibility. Write for humans first; the keyword coverage should feel natural. ❓ Is it worth fixing descriptions on old videos, or only new uploads? It's worth doing both. Older videos with existing watch history and some initial ranking can often see a real bump from an upgraded description, since you're adding ranking surface to a video that already has some algorithmic trust. A title gets you one shot at one search phrase. A well-structured description turns the same video into a magnet for dozens of related searches — the algorithm can only work with what you give it. If your posts rank for text but your images never show up in Google Images, or your Lighthouse score keeps dropping because of a 3MB AI-generated PNG, the problem usually isn't your writing — it's your image pipeline . After 2+ years of publishing technical SEO content, I've settled on one repeatable workflow for every image before it touches my CMS: generate it, compress it, then rename it. ❌ Common misconception: Most people think image SEO ends at writing a good alt attribute. In reality, the filename, the file size, and the format you save it in carry just as much weight — especially for Core Web Vitals and Google Images rankings. On this page Why image SEO matters more than people think The 3-step workflow (step by step) Full image SEO checklist FAQs Why Image SEO Matters More Than People Think Every AI-generated image you drop into a blog post touches SEO in three separate ways: ⚡ Page speed — an uncompressed hero image is almost always your Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) element, and LCP is a confirmed Core Web Vital ranking signal. 🔍 Image search visibility — Google Images reads filenames and alt text as relevance signals before it ever "looks" at the picture. 📚 Content library hygiene — a folder full of Screenshot-2026.png files is unmanageable at scale; a folder of keyword-slugged files isn't. None of these move the needle much on a single post. Across a hundred posts and a few years, they add up — which is exactly why I turned this into a fixed workflow instead of a "when I remember" habit. The 3-Step Workflow I Use on Every Post Same three tools, every time, in this order — before the image ever gets uploaded to the CMS. Step 1 — Generate the Image with ChatGPT I keep one reusable prompt template so every image on the blog shares the same visual language — readers recognize the brand even before they read the headline. Two rules I never break: match the aspect ratio to where the image will actually live (1200×630 for featured/OG images), and never ask the model to render readable text inside the image — AI-rendered text is almost always blurry or misspelled. Prompt template I reuse for every blog cover image: "Minimalist flat-design vector illustration for a tech blog cover image, 1200x630px, dark navy-to-charcoal gradient background, [subject-specific icons] connected by thin teal arrow lines, soft glow on the teal accent color, generous negative space, no readable text or letters anywhere in the image, clean modern SaaS-product illustration style." For this post, [subject-specific icons] became: "a sparkle icon over a photo icon (generation) → a photo icon being compressed by inward-pointing arrows (compression) → a photo icon with a small hyphenated tag icon attached (renaming)" Step 2 — Compress It with iLoveIMG ChatGPT exports are almost always large, lossless PNGs — often 1–3MB. Since a hero image is usually your LCP element, that file size hits page speed directly. I run every export through iLoveIMG's image compressor before it goes near my CMS. It's browser-based, handles JPG/PNG/WebP in bulk, and gets you 85–95% smaller files with no visible quality loss for flat, icon-style illustrations like these. Typical results I see compressing ChatGPT-exported PNGs Image type Before After iLoveIMG Typical savings Featured / OG image ~2–3 MB ~150–200 KB ~90%+ Inline diagram ~1–2 MB ~80–120 KB ~90%+ Small icon / thumbnail ~400–700 KB ~30–50 KB ~90%+ Step 3 — Rename It with an Image Slug Generator A default ChatGPT export or a phone screenshot means nothing to a crawler. Before uploading, I run the compressed file through 360Solution's image slug generator , which renames the file into a clean, lowercase, hyphenated, keyword-rich slug — usually mirroring the URL slug of the post the image belongs to. // Before (default export / screenshot names) IMG_20260612_154233.png Screenshot 2026-06-12 at 3.42.33 PM.png DALL·E 2026-06-12 14.32.09 - abstract tech.png // After (renamed with an image slug generator) blog-image-seo-workflow-generate-compress-rename.webp mongodb-atlas-dns-error-fix-diagram.webp nextjs-hydration-mismatch-example.webp Blog image SEO workflow: generate with ChatGPT, compress with iLoveIMG, rename with a slug generator A fully optimized image tag: keyword-rich filename, descriptive alt text, explicit dimensions to prevent layout shift (CLS), and lazy loading. Bonus: Wiring the Renamed Image into Your OG Tags The same renamed file doubles as the post's Open Graph image. I keep OG images as JPG or PNG even when everything else on the page is WebP — some social crawlers still handle WebP inconsistently, so compatibility wins here over a few extra KB. ✅ Best Practice: Generate → compress → rename → then add alt text and dimensions. Skip any one step and you're only getting a fraction of the benefit — the value comes from doing all three, every time, not from any single tool. Expert takeaway: None of these three steps move rankings on their own. Compression improves LCP, a confirmed Core Web Vital. A keyword-rich filename is a minor relevance signal, mostly for Google Images. Neither replaces good alt text or strong content. But applied consistently across every image, on every post, for years, they compound into faster pages, more image-search impressions, and a cleaner content library — the kind most competitors never bother building. Full Image SEO Checklist ✅ Keyword-rich, hyphenated filename that mirrors the post's slug where possible 🗜️ Compressed to roughly <150KB for hero images, <100KB for inline images 🖼️ Saved as WebP for on-page images; JPG/PNG for the OG/social image 📝 Descriptive, relevant alt text — never keyword-stuffed 📐 Explicit width and height attributes to prevent layout shift (CLS) 🐢 loading="lazy" on every image below the fold 🔁 A unique filename per image — never reuse the same generic name across posts 🗺️ Included in your image sitemap, if your CMS generates one Frequently Asked Questions ❓ Does renaming an image file actually help SEO, or is it a myth? It helps, but it's a minor, mostly Google Images-focused signal — not a page-ranking silver bullet. It's worth doing because it's nearly free once it's a habit, and it compounds across a large content library. ❓ Should I compress before or after renaming? Order doesn't affect the outcome technically, but compress first. It's easier to spot quality loss on a properly named, organized file, and you avoid re-running a compressor if you decide to tweak the name later. ❓ What format should I use — JPG, PNG, or WebP? WebP for anything rendered on the page — it's smaller than JPG/PNG at equivalent quality. Keep your OG/social preview image as JPG or PNG, since some social platform crawlers still handle WebP inconsistently. Run every image through this generate → compress → rename pipeline, and you'll ship faster pages and a content library that actually shows up in Google Images — one small workflow change that keeps paying off on every future post. If your MERN app works perfectly on localhost but throws Access to fetch has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present the moment you deploy, your backend's CORS config is hardcoded for a dev environment that no longer exists in production. ❌ Common misconception: CORS is not "broken" in production — it's working exactly as designed. Your frontend and backend are now on genuinely different origins (different domains, subdomains, or ports), so the browser enforces the rules it always silently skipped in dev. Why It Works Locally But Not in Production Locally, many devs run frontend and backend close enough (same port, proxy config, or browser extensions disabled) that CORS restrictions barely surface. In production, your frontend is usually on https://myapp.com and your API is on https://api.myapp.com or a separate host like Render/Railway entirely — a genuine cross-origin request, so the browser enforces the full CORS handshake. Root Causes, Ranked by Frequency 🌐 origin in your CORS config is still set to http://localhost:3000 🍪 Using credentials: true on the frontend but Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on the backend (invalid combination) 🔒 Cookies not sent because SameSite / Secure flags aren't set for a cross-domain setup 🚧 Preflight OPTIONS requests never reaching your CORS middleware (blocked by a proxy, load balancer, or route order) Fix 1: Set the Correct Origin Per Environment Never hardcode a single origin. Use an environment variable so dev and prod each get the correct value, and allow multiple origins if you have staging/preview deployments. import cors from "cors"; const allowedOrigins = [ "http://localhost:3000", "https://myapp.com", "https://staging.myapp.com", ]; app.use( cors({ origin: (origin, callback) => { if (!origin || allowedOrigins.includes(origin)) { callback(null, true); } else { callback(new Error("Not allowed by CORS")); } }, credentials: true, }) ); Fix 2: Never Combine Wildcard Origin With Credentials The browser will reject the response outright if Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * is paired with a credentialed request. If you need cookies or auth headers sent cross-origin, you must echo back a specific origin. // ❌ Invalid with credentials Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true // ✅ Valid: specific origin + credentials Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://myapp.com Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true // Frontend fetch must also opt in: fetch("https://api.myapp.com/data", { credentials: "include", }); Fix 3: Cookie SameSite and Secure Flags If your frontend and API are on different subdomains or domains, cookies set with the default SameSite=Lax will silently fail to be sent on cross-site requests. res.cookie("token", jwtToken, { httpOnly: true, secure: true, // required in production (HTTPS) sameSite: "none", // required for cross-domain requests }); Fix 4: Make Sure CORS Middleware Runs Before Your Routes If app.use(cors()) is placed after your route handlers, or after another middleware that terminates the request, the preflight OPTIONS request never gets the right headers. const app = express(); // ✅ CORS must be one of the very first middleware app.use(cors({ origin: allowedOrigins, credentials: true })); app.use(express.json()); // routes go after app.use("/api/users", userRoutes); ✅ Best Practice: Keep allowed origins in an environment variable (comma-separated list), never in hardcoded strings, so staging and preview deployments don't need a code change to work. Diagnostic Checklist ✅ Open DevTools → Network tab → check if the OPTIONS preflight request even reaches your server 🔍 Confirm the response has Access-Control-Allow-Origin matching your exact frontend URL 🍪 If using cookies, confirm credentials: "include" is set on every fetch/axios call 🛡️ Check your hosting platform (Vercel/Render/Nginx) isn't stripping CORS headers via its own proxy layer 📋 Verify NODE_ENV is actually set to production and loading the right env vars Official-Style Error Explanation No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource indicates the server's response did not include the required CORS header for the requesting origin. This is a server-side configuration issue, not a frontend bug . Configure the backend to explicitly allow the production origin and retry the request. Frequently Asked Questions ❓ Can I fix CORS from the frontend only? No. CORS headers must come from the server responding to the request. Frontend code can request credentials be included, but it cannot grant itself permission the backend hasn't allowed. ❓ Is using a proxy instead of fixing CORS a good idea? It works as a workaround (e.g. Next.js API routes or an Nginx reverse proxy making requests same-origin), but it's usually better to fix CORS properly unless you have another architectural reason for a proxy layer. ❓ Why does Postman work fine but the browser fails? Postman doesn't enforce CORS — it's a browser security feature only. A successful Postman request only confirms your API logic works, not that your CORS headers are correct. CORS errors in production almost always trace back to an origin, credentials, or cookie-flag mismatch between environments — fix the config once per environment and it stays fixed. If your console shows Error: Hydration failed because the server rendered HTML didn't match the client , React is telling you that the HTML it generated on the server does not match what it re-rendered in the browser during hydration. This is not a syntax error — your app usually still "works," but React throws this away and re-renders the whole tree on the client, hurting performance and occasionally causing visible flicker. ❌ Common misconception: This error does NOT mean your component code is broken. It means the server-rendered markup and the client's first render produced different output — usually because something non-deterministic or environment-dependent ran during render. What This Error Means Next.js renders your page twice: once on the server (producing static HTML sent to the browser) and once on the client (React "hydrates" that HTML by attaching event listeners and reconciling it with what it would have rendered itself). If the two outputs differ — even by a single character — React logs a hydration mismatch and discards the server markup for that subtree. Why It Happens (Root Causes, Ranked by Frequency) In real-world Next.js apps, this error almost always traces back to one of these four causes: 🕒 Using Date() , Math.random() , or Date.now() directly in render output 🧩 Browser extensions injecting attributes into the DOM before React hydrates (Grammarly, password managers, dark-mode extensions) 🌐 Reading window , localStorage , or navigator during initial render for conditional UI 🏷️ Invalid HTML nesting (e.g. a
inside a

) that the browser silently "fixes" before React sees it Fix 1: Non-Deterministic Values (Date, Random, IDs) The server renders at one moment in time; the client renders a split second later. Any value that changes between those two renders will mismatch. Move it into a useEffect so it only runs client-side, after hydration is complete. // ❌ Runs during render — mismatches every time function Timestamp() { return {new Date().toLocaleTimeString()}; } // ✅ Set after mount, once hydration is done function Timestamp() { const [time, setTime] = useState(null); useEffect(() => { setTime(new Date().toLocaleTimeString()); }, []); return {time ?? "--:--:--"}; } Fix 2: Browser Extensions Injecting Attributes Extensions like Grammarly or password managers add attributes (e.g. data-gr-ext-installed ) to your before React hydrates. This is outside your control — the fix is telling React to ignore it on that specific element. // app/layout.tsx export default function RootLayout({ children }) { return ( {children} ); } Fix 3: Reading window / localStorage During Render The server has no window object, so any condition based on it will always render differently server-side vs. client-side. Gate it behind a mounted check. // ❌ window is undefined on the server function ThemeBadge() { const isDark = window.matchMedia("(prefers-color-scheme: dark)").matches; return {isDark ? "Dark" : "Light"}; } // ✅ Defer to client-only state function ThemeBadge() { const [mounted, setMounted] = useState(false); const [isDark, setIsDark] = useState(false); useEffect(() => { setIsDark(window.matchMedia("(prefers-color-scheme: dark)").matches); setMounted(true); }, []); if (!mounted) return null; // render nothing until client confirms return {isDark ? "Dark" : "Light"}; } Fix 4: Invalid HTML Nesting Putting block elements like

or
    inside a

tag is invalid HTML. The browser silently rewrites the DOM to fix it, which no longer matches what React thinks it rendered. // ❌ Invalid: div cannot be inside p

    Some content

// ✅ Valid: use span or restructure
    Some content
✅ Best Practice: Never use suppressHydrationWarning as a blanket fix across your whole app — it silences real bugs too. Apply it only to the specific element affected by known browser-extension noise. Diagnostic Checklist ✅ Search your component tree for Date( , Math.random( , and uuid( used directly in JSX 🔍 Reproduce in an Incognito window with no extensions to rule out Fix 2 🌍 Search for window. or localStorage usage outside useEffect 🛡️ Run your HTML through the browser's DevTools "Elements" tab and check for auto-corrected nesting 📋 Check the full React error message — recent versions list the exact mismatched element Official-Style Error Explanation Hydration failed because the server rendered HTML didn't match the client indicates that React's client-side render produced different markup than the server-generated HTML it was hydrating. This is a rendering determinism failure, not a build or syntax error . Identify the non-deterministic or environment-dependent code causing the divergence and defer it to run after mount. Frequently Asked Questions ❓ Does this error break my app in production? Not usually — React recovers by re-rendering the mismatched subtree on the client. But it costs a performance hit and can cause a visible flash of incorrect content, so it's worth fixing rather than ignoring. ❓ Should I just add suppressHydrationWarning everywhere? No. That hides the warning without fixing the underlying cause, and you'll lose visibility into real bugs elsewhere in your tree. Use it only on the specific element affected by uncontrollable factors like browser extensions. ❓ Why does this happen more with the App Router than Pages Router? The App Router renders more of the tree on the server by default (Server Components), which increases the surface area where server and client output can diverge if client-only APIs sneak into shared logic. Once you isolate which of these four causes is triggering your mismatch, the fix is usually a one-line change — the hard part is finding the culprit, not writing the patch. June 29, 2026 Android App Launch 4 min read Build In Public My First App Is Now Live on Google Play Store: Qaseeda Burda Sharif After months of searching for one missing feature in every Qaseeda Burda Sharif app I could find, I decided to build it myself: Search by Voice. My first app is now live on the Google Play Store. It is called Qaseeda Burda Sharif , and it was built around one simple problem I kept facing again and again. I spent months searching through different apps, looking for one feature that I personally wanted. I could not find it anywhere. The feature was simple: say a verse out loud, and the app should instantly find that verse for you. Nobody had built it the way I needed it. So I built it. The Main Feature: Search by Voice The biggest feature in this app is Voice Search . Instead of scrolling manually or typing words, you can simply recite or say the verse out loud. The app listens, understands the words, and finds the matching verse instantly. I have not seen this feature in any Qaseeda Burda Sharif app before. Not one. That is exactly why I wanted to build it. Why it matters: Many readers remember a verse by sound, not by chapter number or exact spelling. Voice Search makes it much easier to find the verse they are looking for. Built for Readers of Qaseeda Burda Sharif Qaseeda Burda Sharif is read and loved by people across the world. Many people read it on their phones, but the experience is often not as smooth as it should be. I wanted the app to be fast, clean, readable, and practical. Since I was already building the Voice Search feature, I made sure the rest of the app was useful too. App Features Voice Search Say the verse out loud and find it instantly inside the app. Search by Chapter Jump directly to the chapter you want without unnecessary scrolling. Search by Verse Number Find a specific verse quickly when you already know its number. Adjustable Font Sizes Increase or decrease text size for a comfortable reading experience. Pure Text UI No image-based pages. The app is faster, smoother, and easier to read on every device. Why I Built It This Way Many apps display religious text as images. That can make the app heavier, slower, and less flexible. It also makes features like proper search, font adjustment, and smooth navigation harder to build. For this app, I focused on a pure text interface . That means the content loads faster, looks cleaner, and works better across different Android devices. My goal was clear: make Qaseeda Burda Sharif easier to read, easier to search, and easier to listen to. A Small App With a Big Purpose This is my first app, but I wanted it to solve a real problem. I did not build it just to publish something. I built it because I needed this feature myself, and I believe many other readers needed it too. One useful feature can change the whole experience. In this case, that feature is Voice Search. Download the App The Qaseeda Burda Sharif app is now available on the Google Play Store. MH Muhammad Huzaifa Founder, Academic Scheduler Let me be honest with you. When I set out to build Academic Scheduler, I wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel. I just needed a tool that worked the way people actually think about scheduling — simple, clear, and ready to use without a manual the size of a textbook. What I found when I explored the market genuinely shocked me. The moment that changed everything: I registered for one of the leading academic scheduling platforms, stared at a dashboard full of unlabeled menus, nested settings, and conflicting options — and closed the tab within 4 minutes. There was no onboarding. No tour. No guidance. Just a wall of complexity and a billing page. The Problem With Every Other Scheduling Tool I spent weeks going through competing platforms. Not just trialing them — really digging in, reading their docs, watching their tutorials, reaching out to users. Here's exactly what I kept running into: 😵 Overwhelming Complexity Dozens of settings, sub-menus inside sub-menus, and features that duplicate each other. You spend more time learning the tool than using it. ⚔️ Constant Conflicts Double-bookings, overlapping classes, rooms assigned to two events at once. Conflict detection is either broken or buried behind 3 clicks. 🚪 Zero Onboarding You register, you're dropped into a blank dashboard, and you're on your own. No welcome tour, no sample data, no "start here" moment. 💸 Paywalled Essentials The features you actually need — conflict detection, exports, notifications — are locked behind premium tiers. You discover this after you're already invested. The worst part? These aren't obscure startups. These are established, well-funded platforms — and they still haven't solved the most basic problem: making scheduling feel easy. So I Spent 1+ Year Building the Alternative Academic Scheduler started as my own frustration turned into a mission. Every decision I made — every feature, every flow, every button — was shaped by one question: "Would a first-time user understand this without help?" That's not easy. It means saying no to features that would add complexity without value. It means spending weeks on an onboarding flow that most teams skip. It means testing with real users, watching them get confused, and rebuilding until they don't. My promise from day one: When you register for Academic Scheduler, you will know exactly what to do next. No blank screens. No guessing. A guided experience that walks you through your first schedule in minutes. What Makes Academic Scheduler Different 01 Guided Onboarding From the First Second The moment you register, you're walked through your setup step by step. No blank dashboard. No reading a help center. You create your first schedule before you even know you've learned the product. 02 Built-In Conflict Detection That Actually Works Room double-booked? Instructor assigned to two classes at once? Academic Scheduler catches these automatically and flags them before they become real problems. Not an add-on. Not a premium feature. Built in. 03 Clean, Distraction-Free Interface We removed everything that didn't need to be there. The result is a UI where the important information is immediately visible and every action is one click away, not buried three levels deep. 04 14-Day Full-Feature Trial — No Credit Card Surprises Pick the plan that fits your institution. Every plan comes with a full 14-day free trial of all features included in that plan. You get the complete experience — not a crippled demo version — so you can make a real decision. 05 Only the Features That Matter for Scheduling No bloat. No features added just to justify a higher price. Academic Scheduler is laser-focused on the core problem: building academic schedules that work, fast, without errors. How the Trial Works Most software buries the good stuff behind a paywall and lets you discover that after you've already spent time setting things up. We do the opposite. Step What Happens Others Do This? Register Pick your plan upfront — full transparency on what's included Rarely Onboard Guided tour walks you through every key feature immediately Almost never 14-Day Trial All features in your chosen plan — fully unlocked, no restrictions Not like this Decide Subscribe if it's the right fit — after real experience, not a demo Sometimes A Note From Me, the Founder I'm Muhammad Huzaifa. I've been building Academic Scheduler for over a year — not as a side project, but as something I genuinely care about getting right. I've sat through the same bad software experiences you have. I've watched institutions waste hours on scheduling because their tools got in the way instead of helping. This product is my answer to that problem. Every feature exists because it solves a real pain point. Every screen was designed because I asked: "What does a person actually need right now?" I'm not a big company with a marketing budget. I'm a founder who cares deeply about this problem and is building the solution one day at a time. When you use Academic Scheduler, you're not just getting software — you're getting direct access to someone who wants your scheduling experience to be genuinely better. MH "I built Academic Scheduler because I was tired of tools that treat complexity as a feature. Scheduling should be the easy part of running an academic institution. I want to make sure it is." — Muhammad Huzaifa, Founder Frequently Asked Questions Does the free trial require a credit card? You choose your plan when you register, but your 14-day trial gives you full access to every feature in that plan. No unexpected charges, no locked features halfway through — you see exactly what you're getting before you commit. What kind of institutions is this built for? Academic Scheduler is built for schools, colleges, universities, and training centers that need to manage class timetables, instructor availability, and room assignments without the chaos. If you've struggled with scheduling conflicts or complexity before, this is for you. What if I need help getting started? The onboarding tour handles the basics the moment you register. Beyond that, documentation and direct support are available. As a founder-led product, you're never more than a message away from someone who actually built the thing. How is this different from a generic calendar or Google Calendar? Generic calendars were built for individuals managing their own time. Academic Scheduler was built specifically for the complexity of institutional scheduling — multiple rooms, multiple instructors, recurring class patterns, semester structures, and automatic conflict resolution. It's a fundamentally different problem. Stop Fighting Your Scheduling Software Start your 14-day free trial today. No confusion, no blank screens, no locked features. Just a scheduler that works the way you think. Pick your plan on registration → Get full access immediately → Decide after real experience. Start My Free Trial → No spam. No pressure. Improve crawlability, indexing, and technical SEO in seconds... 📅 April 29, 2026 🏷️ Technical SEO ⏱️ 6 min read 360Solution Free Robots.txt & Sitemap.xml Generator: Build a Solid Technical SEO Foundation Instantly Stop writing crawl directives and XML sitemaps by hand. Use 360Solution's free online tools to generate a valid robots.txt and sitemap.xml in seconds — no coding, no errors, no wasted time. Technical SEO can feel overwhelming, but two files sit at the very foundation of every well-optimized website: robots.txt and sitemap.xml . Get these right and you give search engines a clear map of what to crawl and what to index. Get them wrong and you risk blocking important pages — or wasting crawl budget on content that should never appear in search results. The good news? You don't need to write either file from scratch. 360Solution.io provides two powerful, completely free tools that generate both files instantly — with the correct syntax, proper formatting, and all the options you actually need. 🚀 Quick Summary: Paste your domain and page paths → configure your rules → download production-ready robots.txt and sitemap.xml files in under a minute. What Is a robots.txt File and Why Does It Matter? A robots.txt file lives at the root of your domain (e.g., https://example.com/robots.txt ) and tells search engine crawlers — like Googlebot and Bingbot — which pages or sections of your site they are allowed or not allowed to access. It is the first file any serious crawler reads when it visits your site. Without a properly configured robots.txt, crawlers may spend time indexing low-value pages like admin dashboards, staging areas, API endpoints, or internal search results — consuming crawl budget that should go toward your most important content. Common robots.txt Use Cases 🔒 Block Private Areas Prevent crawlers from accessing /admin/ , /login/ , or internal dashboards. 🗑️ Eliminate Duplicate Pages Block paginated archive pages, utility URLs, or duplicate filter parameters. ⚡ Control Crawl Budget Focus Googlebot's crawl resources on pages that deliver real SEO value. 🗺️ Point to Sitemap Reference your sitemap.xml URL directly inside robots.txt for faster discovery. Generate Your robots.txt with 360Solution 360Solution's Robots.txt Generator handles every configuration option you need — all in your browser with zero installation required. 1 Enter Your Website URL Your domain is used to generate the correct Sitemap line automatically. 2 Set Disallow Paths Add one path per line — e.g., /admin/ , /api/ , /private/ . 3 Configure Crawl Delay & Options Toggle whether to allow all crawlers by default and include a sitemap reference line. 4 Copy or Download Grab the output instantly — ready to upload to your website root. A typical output looks like this: User-agent: * Allow: / Disallow: /admin/ Disallow: /private/ Disallow: /api/ Crawl-delay: 1 Sitemap: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml ⚠️ Important: Robots.txt blocks crawling, not indexing. If a page is already indexed, disallowing it will not remove it from search results. Use a noindex meta tag or canonical tag for those cases. What Is a sitemap.xml File and Why Does It Matter? A sitemap.xml file is an XML document that lists all the important URLs on your website, along with optional metadata like last-modified date, change frequency, and priority. Submitting one to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools is one of the simplest and most impactful technical SEO actions you can take. For new websites especially, a sitemap dramatically speeds up the discovery and indexing of your pages. For large content sites, it ensures that freshly published or recently updated pages are recrawled faster. 💡 Google's Recommendation: Submit your sitemap.xml in Google Search Console and reference it in your robots.txt. Both signals together maximize crawl discovery efficiency. Generate Your sitemap.xml with 360Solution 360Solution's Sitemap.xml Generator creates a fully valid XML sitemap with all standard attributes — no coding knowledge required. 1 Enter Your Domain and Page Paths Provide your base URL and list page paths line by line (e.g., / , /about , /contact ). 2 Set Change Frequency and Priority Choose how often pages update (daily, weekly, monthly) and assign crawl priority values. 3 Enable Last Modified Date Toggle lastmod to include today's date — this helps crawlers prioritize recently updated content. 4 Copy or Download sitemap.xml Grab the ready-to-upload XML file and place it at your website root. The generated output follows the W3C sitemap protocol exactly: https://yourdomain.com/ 2026-04-29 weekly 0.8 https://yourdomain.com/about 2026-04-29 monthly 0.6 robots.txt vs sitemap.xml: Key Differences Feature robots.txt sitemap.xml Purpose Controls what crawlers can access Tells crawlers what pages exist File Location /robots.txt (root) /sitemap.xml (root) Format Plain text directives XML with structured URL entries Read by All crawlers before crawling Search engines for URL discovery SEO Impact Protects crawl budget Speeds up indexing Best Used For Blocking low-value sections Submitting new pages for indexing Frequently Asked Questions Do I need both files? Yes — they serve different purposes. robots.txt controls access; sitemap.xml aids discovery. Together they give search engines a complete picture of your site structure. Where do I upload these files? Both files should be placed at your website root so they are accessible at https://yourdomain.com/robots.txt and https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml . Will robots.txt remove a page from Google? No. Blocking a URL in robots.txt prevents Google from crawling it, but if the page is already indexed or linked from other sites, it may still appear in search results. Use noindex to remove pages from the index. How often should I update my sitemap? Update it whenever you publish new pages or significantly change existing ones. Regenerating with today's date as the lastmod value signals to crawlers that content has been refreshed. Ready to Build Your SEO Foundation? When you set up an Expo project from scratch, you're expected to provide images at very specific sizes. Here's what manual work looks like vs. using the generator: Manual Approach With Expo Icon Generator ❌ Open Figma/Photoshop, export 5+ sizes ✅ Upload once, all sizes generated ❌ Memorize exact dimensions per platform ✅ Correct dimensions applied automatically ❌ Manually write app.json paths ✅ app.json pre-filled and included ❌ 30–60 minutes of tedious work ✅ Done in under 60 seconds 💼 Common Use Cases 🆕 New React Native Apps Generate all branding assets for new Expo projects in seconds. 🎨 App Redesigns Update icons and splash screens quickly when rebranding. 📱 Multi-Platform Apps Keep iOS, Android, and Web branding consistent automatically. ⚡ Developer Productivity Save hours on manual asset creation across multiple client projects. 📐 Expo Asset Requirements (Official Specs) In case you're wondering why these dimensions matter — here's the official breakdown Expo expects: icon.png — 1024×1024px, used for iOS App Store and general app icon. Must be square with no transparency on iOS. adaptive-icon.png — 1024×1024px foreground layer for Android adaptive icons. Should have padding and transparent background. splash.png — 1284×2778px, full-screen background for the loading splash. Uses resizeMode: "contain" by default. splash-icon.png — 200×200px centered logo shown on the splash screen. favicon.png — 48×48px, used when your Expo app is deployed as a Progressive Web App (PWA). 💡 Best Practices for Expo App Icons ✅ Upload at 1024×1024 or larger — the tool handles resizing, but higher resolution input means sharper output. ✅ Use a transparent PNG for logos — this lets the background color show cleanly around your icon. ✅ Keep icon padding in mind — iOS clips icons to a rounded rectangle, so avoid putting critical branding at the very edges. ✅ Match splash color to your app's primary background — this creates a seamless transition from splash to app launch. ✅ Test on a real device — preview in the tool, then run expo start and verify on both iOS and Android simulators. ❓ Frequently Asked Questions Is this tool completely free? Yes. The Expo Icon Generator is 100% free with no registration, no usage limits, and no hidden fees. Just open, upload, and download. Does it work with Expo Router / SDK 50+? Yes. The generated assets and app.json are compatible with all current Expo SDK versions including Expo Router setups. Asset paths and dimensions follow the latest Expo documentation. What file formats can I upload? The tool accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG, and SVG files. PNG with transparent background is recommended for the cleanest result, especially for the adaptive icon. Where do I put the downloaded assets in my Expo project? Extract the ZIP and move all image files into your project's assets/ folder. The included app.json already references the correct paths. Replace your existing app.json (or merge the expo section) and run expo start --clear . Is my uploaded image stored on your servers? Image processing happens client-side in your browser. Your logo is not uploaded to or stored on any server, keeping your branding files private. Ready to Set Up Your Expo App in 60 Seconds? Stop wasting time on manual image exports. April 14, 2026 · Next.js · SEO · Structured Data · 6 min read Rich Results Fix Fix Duplicate FAQPage Schema Error in Next.js Google Search Console is showing "2 invalid items detected – Duplicate field FAQPage" ? Here is exactly why it happens and the one-line fix that makes it go away permanently. You add a general FAQ to your layout.tsx file — three or five questions about your site, your service, your product. Makes sense. Then on individual blog posts or pages, you add a second FAQ section specific to that content. Also makes sense. But Google sees both FAQs on every single page. The result: duplicate FAQPage structured data , invalid rich result items, and your FAQ rich snippets get disqualified from search. What you will learn: Why the duplicate happens, what Google actually expects, and how to fix it by removing FAQ structured data from your layout and keeping it only on individual pages. Why This Error Happens in Next.js Next.js layout.tsx (App Router) wraps every page in your application. Anything rendered inside the layout — including JSON-LD structured data — is injected into the HTML of every page that shares that layout. So when your layout contains a FAQPage schema block, and a blog post page also renders its own FAQPage schema block, Google's Rich Results Test sees two separate @type: "FAQPage" entries on the same URL — and flags it as invalid. The core problem: Layout code runs on every page. FAQ structured data in your layout means every single page on your site is submitting a FAQPage claim to Google — even pages that have nothing to do with those FAQs. What Google Actually Expects Google's structured data guidelines require that FAQPage schema represents questions and answers that are visible on that specific page . One FAQPage block per URL. Period. If Google detects two FAQPage blocks on a single URL, it marks both as invalid and neither gets rich result treatment. You lose the expanded Q&A snippets in search results entirely. The Fix — Remove FAQ Schema from layout.tsx The solution is straightforward: FAQ structured data must never live in the layout. Remove it entirely from layout.tsx and let each page manage its own FAQ schema independently. Step 1 — Remove from layout.tsx Find and delete any JSON-LD script block with @type: "FAQPage" from your layout file: // ❌ DELETE THIS from layout.tsx // layout.tsx runs on EVERY page — so does this FAQ schema
